The reason for writing this review is to highlight the exceptional hospitality displayed by Becky at the front desk. She may have been a team leader or manager as she was wearing a grey polo. It seems like the others were wearing black or blue. I am very grateful that Becky checked us in as she was extremely attentive, polite, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help us find the right room for our family after finding the people that booked us over the phone at a call center had the information entered in incorrectly and assigned us to the wrong room.My family travels pretty frequently and this type of service displayed by Becky is very rare in my travel experiences. She was informative about hotel events and times. This was much appreciated after a long day of travel from Florida. Hot breakfast is very good. Pool area very clean with live acoustic music and light up pool balls for kids to play with. Definitely a pleasant, family friendly atmosphere. Rooms new and updated. Our room was an open concept with a king bed and large bathroom. Plenty of room for a family of 4. Very clean. The entire hotel was nice, clean and updated. Excellent multipurpose fitness area with gym. Easy assess from interstate. Near restaurants. We definitely recommend this hotel based on our experience. This is our second stay in the last 12 months and they seem to be very consistent. If you are looking for a nice place in Baton Rouge, I recommend you give them a try!
The stay at the hotel was very nice. The free drinks and meals were an added plus! The bartender and breakfast server on the 5th floor were awesome! They went out of her way to make my mom's birthday celebration nice! The ice machine was not working on this floor, so a Hispanic lady went out of her way to assist us. THANK you! The balcony on the Executive floor was a huge disappointment. It was not clean or inviting. The front desk staff were very accommodating! Thank you!!!
A clean Hotel where we were treated wonderfully from check in to check out. The King bed was comfortable and the room had all the amenities one could ask for including a fridge and microwave. Breakfast buffet was delicious also!
The room was small but okay beds were comfortable... Issue 1 room would not stay cool during the day and the AC also leaked into the room all day everyday so we just kept a towel there and switched it out every morning. Issue 2 was the bedding..we folded the sheets back and found dirt and dog hair (we don't have a dog) it took 3 calls to get the bedding changed. Probably should of taken a picture of that also. Issue 3was the Roachs (the little nasty ones) in the hall and in the room... we opted to leave a majority of our belongings in car to avoid them getting in our things. The pool was kept up very well and the breakfast was good.
I selected it for the location which was great, but my room was not very clean, still had pop stains on the bed side table and fingerprints on the mirror and some hair left on the bathroom counter. I asked for room service but when I got back later it hadn't been done. I asked again and it was done. Tip! Make sure there isn't a Cheer competition at the hotel when you stay there. No ones fault but wow, its noisy.
I had posted a review meant as a draft but it was handled by the manager before I even knew it was posted. The staff has been accommodating of the issues I had upon arriving. My room didn't have a dresser and they offered to move me to a different one, and the fridge was warm, but fixed by maintenance once notified. Big thank yous to the staff and manager for sure.
The room could have been cleaner. Some mold in the bathroom. Broken furniture and air conditioner did not work. The unit was too loud to sleep. I checked out early due to the noisy unit. The room never cooled below 70 and it was set on 59 all day. I was very disappointed with the stay. The service from front desk and staff was very good. The room itself was disappointing.
I loved it! Stayed for two nights! They had live entertainment and a seafood buffet on a Friday evening ? of course I paid to eat but it was worth every penny. Will be back for my next self love getaway! Y'all know I'm a foodie at ❤️. Look at the pics. The Mac and cheese had crawfish in it
Stayed here twice. Rooms are nice. Floors have a slight moisture to them if you don't run the AC below seventy. Their staff is friendly. By far the most incredible gym I have ever seen. One could train the to be on American Ninja Warrior here.
We had the best weekend there! Never expected to not have to travel outside of the hotel. It was the perfect weekend getaway. We enjoyed the restaurant and a jazz concert. The bartender is top notch with his creations. We will be back!
