Very disappointed! The chicken is full of fat, which should be removed during cleaning. Apparently, they have changed suppliers. The roll was cold. The green beans were loaded with salt. It was so much work having to separate the chicken from the fat.

They forgot my rolls (again) but otherwise everything was good or great. We had the brisket and chicken combos, you could definitely pick up on the smoky flavor. Some of the brisket was hard but still tasted good. The Mexican corn on my plate was fantastic and now my favorite side! My spouse got the Mac n cheese and my super picky toddler loved it (first time we've ever successfully got her to eat pasta!).

It was amazing! From the time we walked in the employé was friendly, very nice, helpful with menu when we told her it was our first time, and how it worked, what came with what. The atmosphere was fantastic you could see the rotisserie chicken behind the glass and the flames from the fire. The chef had it on point. The price was good for an upscale restaurant. I will definitely be going and taking my friends with me again. It's also casual it's good for anybody couples tourist families it's a good place to eat excellent chicken. It's a great Western Atmosphere Restaurant! They also do catering. They have a great selection of drinks I like the Country Peach black tea was amazing.

I had a really bizarre experience dining here. Almost all the dishes were over seasoned with excessive amount of salt which is frankly unhealthy. It wasn’t just with slightly more salt but salty to the point of being unpalatable or bitter. It might be dangerous for any individuals who have high blood pressure, renal issues or heart issues among others. It seems like a moral obligation to write this review to forewarn anyone who might be with underlying health issues and might get sick from this food. The rice and the green beans were specially two dishes that had too much salt and strangely the red beans had no salt at all.

Not a well managed place. I won’t be back.Out of dark meat chicken. Tables need busing. Took 23 minutes to get my food. No towels in the men’s bathroom.

Tried Cowboy Chicken for the 1st time today. It was delicious. I had the chicken with green beans and creamed spinach. The creamed spinach was amazing!!!! Will definitely be back again!!!!

Excellent food and great value for the money, and the owner is a great guy. Mark V. is a dedicated family man and hardworking restaurateur. I would recommend Cowboy Chicken to anyone!

Chicken was super tender, delicious flavor, and the macaroni and cheese was fire. I like how they have the chickens cooking in that big fire that's pretty cool. The place is really nice and cozy. The workers were very nice as well, I'll definitely be back to try more!

Not trying to be negative, just leaving my review.Let me first say that all staff were polite and respectful.Especially the cashier Jacee! She was extremely helpful and patient.Anyways, I'm from Chicago and I guess the flavor here in LA is just different.I ordered the 3pc dark with 2sides. First I had to wait nearly 30mins before my food was ready, even though it was only maybe 2 people before me. Then the people that came more than 10 minutes after me got their food first. That's when the staff realized they forgot my order. Two, the mac and cheese tasted as if lemon juice was added to the boiling water. I don't know if that's just how the south likes it. The Spanish rice was thick and very dry. Again, I am not sure if it was supposed be that way. I like that the chicken was fire roasted but it wasn't as flavored as I expected it to be. $11 isn't bad for this plate. But this plate maybe should cost close to $8 IDk.Again, I am not trying to be negative. I am just leaving a review. I thank you all and I apologize for offending anyone.

We waited 25 min for our food to arrive cold. With dessert first then half the sides and finally chicken. The sides were still lukewarm. I don’t get it. They weren’t busy. Just apathetic it seems. $30 for 2 cold roasted chicken meals and dessert that was bland. They can do better and should at least try. Pic shows the huge crowd that kept the kitchen busy.
