We chose Cocha because we were celebrating our daughters birthday. The food was superb and our waiter was even better. Canât say enough about Juan except he was the best waiter we have ever had, at any restaurant we have ever been to! You could tell he loved food and introducing the menu to his guests. He was very enthusiastic explaining in detail the cuisine offered at the restaurant. We were undecided about which wine to order and he allowed us to try a few different samples. You could tell he treated the guests at each table with the same kind of attentiveness. We noticed another man who seemed to be the owner or manager and was impressed how genuinely friendly he was as he checked on tables and sat with friends. I look forward to returning to Cocha and highly recommend it for wonderful food and service!
We absolutely love this restaurant. The food, service and ambiance are outstanding. The cuisine is unique for Baton Rouge. The owners are phenomenal hosts. They make you feel so welcome. The wine list is exceptional. It's diverse and priced well. Cocha never disappoints.

The food and service were amazing - Juan was great at helping us decide what to get. The jackfruit was amazing and so were the noddles. Nice local find on our road trip through Baton Rouge.
Me and my friend are traveling for work and found this restaurant, so happy we chose it. Our server was amazing, made great recommendations, we of course ordered them immediately. Very fresh fish, great flavor, great food presentation. We loved the tartare with plantains, and the halibut special of the day. Lovely spot.
This was our second time dining at Cocha. Both times were great, but Juan made this recent experience exceptional. He went above and beyond, providing recommendations and always making sure we were well taken care of. Cocha's "from the garden" menu selections are outstanding. Highly recommend visiting Cocha!
Just GO! If you enjoy incredible, attentive service and deliciously innovative food, then do yourself a favor and head to Cocha. Tried it for the first time yesterday and am already hoping for a chance to go back. If I lived in BTR, I am pretty sure I would be a regular. Try the cachapas!
Our server Juan was incredible. He was so kind and accommodating, and our meal was delicious. Overall an excellent experience.
