What a wonderful meal! We had stopped in for drinks last weekend, but decided to have dinner Saturday night. We just moved in a block away, and were pleasantly surprised to have such a great restaurant nearby. We made reservations, as the venue is not very large. The atmosphere is perfect: comfortable but trendy. Kelsey was our waitress. The service was excellent: attentive, helpful, and quite personable. We had several cocktails, as the wine menu was rather limited; but those drinks were amazing, and really added to the meal. The food was really a revelation! We started with the gnocchi and cornbread, then she had the alligator, greens and red beans as well. She loved it all, and even took some home. I had the grouper, on recommendation from our server. It was one of the most perfect dishes Iâve ever eaten! Cooled and seasoned perfectly! I canât stop raving about it. It was just that good! No room for dessert this time, but the options looked delicious. We canât wait to go back!
I wouldn't recommend to a friend. The service wasn't bad at all but the food wasn't good.
