Green machine was too potent for me, but I'm a lightweight. French dip was great, and service was, too. Pretty place with a good view.
My husband and I went here for our silver wedding anniversary dinner, and we had an excellent time. Our server (Allison, I think, a cute redhead), was friendly and prompt, and I hope we get her again if we ever manage to get back there. Though I don't remember what we had, the food was delicious. The price was also reasonable, especially for downtown.
Pretty interior. Loved our food, seafood platter and grilled chicken pasta. The pasta was enough for 2 meals. Service was polite, friendly, and efficient. Conveniently located near Old State Capitol.
My Mother's Day was well spent with my Daughter taking me to Capitol City Grill downtown B.R., LaOur meals were delicious ? ? Thanks for showing my Daughter & Me a Great time, to the Manager & Staff on this pass Sunday!
This is not a food review this is a warning. We called at 5 to make a reservation for 4 people for 7 and was told we don’t need one and they only take reservations for 6 or more. Drove downtown and paid $15 for parking only to find they were booked. We didn’t get a “it will be an hour wait” we got “sorry we can’t help you” and with attitude. We took the hit on the parking and went to chimes on highland it was a 20 minute wait and free parking. I say again you’ve been warned.
Everything was fabulous. Really nice upscale classy restaurant to go to. Has a fun bar. Great vibes. Good service. All that you can ask for and more. Definitely try it out if you’re in town!
Staying across the street and popped in for dinner. Sat at the bar and was greeted immediately. Ordered etouffee, banger shrimp & boudin balls which where brought out very timely. The food was VERY good, bartenders were VERY friendly, restaurant was clean and nice and the cost was not outrageous. Would definitely go back
We had a group of people with us from out of town, and ordered and our waiter was very slow and it took an hour to get our food and he wouldn’t come check on the drinks so I got up to order my own drinks from the bar, and the food was just ok. Won’t be back sorry.
Got a crawfish cornbread and the ettoufee was.. sour? just tasted like it went bad. On top of that my server "Destiny" was honestly rude. Bad vibes from the minute he first talked to me . She just seemed annoyed the whole time like she didn't want to help. I felt like a burden. The bartender was quite pleasant tho. I cant remember his name but he was tall and blond, he was super nice and helpful and kind of cute lol
While the food was tasty, the service could use improvement. My coffee was luke warm and we didn’t see our server for a long while when needing refills. The only times he came to the table were when I caught his eye when he decided to come back to the floor after talking to the staff in the back. When he did come to the table, he would consistently use the kitchen speed as a excuse which would have nothing to do with refilling drinks. In addition, when asking if peppers could be left out of my daughter’s pasta dish, our server said that wasn’t possible which makes no sense as it was clear they could have easily been left out. Given the fact that our server only had three tables and we were dining after the lunch rush, I would have expected much more attentive service.
