Had a late dinner with mom and daughter. We went to Cafe Petra because all other places were closed. What a treat! The food was delicious!!! It was fresh, vibrant and hot. The Baba ghanoush was outstanding. I had a combination platter that could have easily fed 2 people. The price is affordable.Overall, I enjoyed dinner and will be returning.
Amazing food and customer service! The chicken and gyros are amazing. They have a garlic sauce that we love!!! All of the employees are super helpful and friendly, this has quickly become our favorite Sunday lunch spot!
I tried Cafe Petra last year (2021) and it was just “ok.” We spent about $50 and got a good sampling of lots of their offerings. We both love Greek food and had high hopes. Food was good but not great. But my wife and I overlooked the shortcomings and assumed it was due to Covid. So today was our first return visit and we were optimistic. We spent about $35 and ordered several items. Sadly, it was more disappointing than the first time. The hummus was very mediocre with no significant taste at all. The peta bread was similar. My wife found the baba Ganesh somewhat tasteless. And the falafel was just bland with none of the characteristic falafel taste. It was well prepared, gorgeous but bland. We were both quite shocked. We also ordered the Kafka kabob but were served and charged for the Combo Kabob, a $6 up-charge. It was good, tasty but did not “rock.” And the beef portion of the kabob had a background taste that made us think it was a bit old…so we did not eat but one bite of it.I really want this restaurant to succeed. We love to eat Greek food and always look for a Greek restaurant when traveling.
Excellent service! The person who took our order was friendly and greeted my daughter and I! She also answered all of our questions about the menu. The food was amazing!! I ordered the chicken shawarma pasta plate and fried cheese! Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned! They also put safety first for customers and staff! Everyone was masked and wore and changed out gloves! 5 stars! I will become a regular!!!
Sunday Jan 23 around brunch time(12:00pm) we had an amazing experience at this restaurant, food was delicious, and service was excellent, the lady that took our order was super nice from the moment we entered the restaurant to the time we left. When we were eating and she wasn't taking orders on the front anymore, she walked around checking if everything was okay. 5 stars well deserved!!
First visit with some friends and was very happy. Staff was friendly and attentive to make sure we were taken care of. Food arrived fast and was very good. You get a good amount of food for the price. 10-20 dollars per person and when your more at the 20 end you nearly have enough food for 2 meals.
Basically the best Lebanese and Greek place in the area. The food is authentic and fresh, the cashier is always super sweet, and most importantly, it's the same quality every time I come here. Most items on the menu are either vegan or made vegan on request, and the family that works here really makes the place feel homey.
Falafel sandwich was great. Staff was incredibly kind and accommodating.
I ordered the chicken shawarma pasta. It was enough for two and was so good! You can order online and pick up at the drive through window. I love that convenience. I will be back. Can’t wait to try the chicken shawarma salad.
Absolutely delicious food! We had fried Halloumi cheese appetizer and I had Gyro plate. My sister had the meat and eggplant Moussaka plate. Every bite was was so tasty. Can't wait to go back.
