Best breakfast burritos!
We went with a group of 5 for my birthday brunch and it was wonderful. The service was great and the food was amazing. I had the biscuits and gray & the mimosa special. Our waitress was super sweet and made sure we were taken care of
We had never been to BRQ before. Being from North carolina, we have high expectations for barbecue. ;-) we had a sampler with all the different needs on it and everything was delicious. The all stars from the group, if we had to pick them, were the smoked brisket and pulled pork barbecue.The smoked brisket had great flavor, was tender, moist, and virtually melted in your mouth. Next, we got the nachos with brisket and they were incredible! Not only was the serving size monstrous (and we are big eaters), but also the toppings were ample, including the smoked brisket (so many restaurants skimp on the protein with nachos). We finished up with a slice of their chocolate cake, which was huge albeit not terribly dense or rich. All in all, the restaurant was superb and we highly recommend it.. we will be back when we return to Baton Rouge!
Their kebab dinner special was delicious, wish it would be added to the normal menu.
I came here for a business lunch and I'm so glad somebody picked this place. What a nice happy place for a lunch meeting.The portions are huge and I was stuff. We ordered the nachos with brisket, the boudin balls, and Brussels Sprouts to share.. They were delicious.I had their lunch special - the Jambo I think? I loved their brisket because it's a great combo of fatty and lean meat. I'm just picky with the pull pork because I like my meat fatty...Really cute farm house atmosphere. What stood out the most is our server. I can't remember her name but she gave the best and most honest recommendations.
Overall 3.5 stars. Chips and Pickles were a great start. The brisket was 6.5/10 and it came out cold. The Salmon dish with asparagus and potatoes was delicious.
Even though they were extremely busy, the hostesses and servers were smiling and attentive. The service was quick and the food was delicious! We will be back!
Me and my boyfriend went here for brunch one Sunday. The food & drinks were absolutely amazing but I wanted to touch on the staff. Thank yâall for going above and beyond with helping us. Our table was uneven and wobbly, one of the waitresses saw and fixed the problem without us even asking. This was my second time here and I will definitely be back. Everything was amazing!
Great setting, service and food. Enjoyed the evening with friends.
