We recently tried out this place on essen lane. Its for sure a chocolate lovers haven. We really loved it. The kids devoured their waffle stick. We ordered a waffle stick with milk chocolate dipping and chocolate chips. This was my favorite among everything we hot. Its for sure on the more chocolaty side but who doesn't like it. We also had Triple chocolate waffle, Bubble waffle with chocolate ice cream and their Bonjour shake. I loved that their chocolate ice cream for the bubble waffle tasted like a dark chocolate ice cream.. yummmm... Everything we ordered was amazing. It surely took us to chocolate paradise
Lovely place. Nice atmosphere. You can watch all of the food being prepared for you. However, there are usually only a couple of people working so the wait can take a little while. We come here for special occasions and the occasional sugar rush. I recommend the bubble waffle with ice cream!
This was a fun restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised because I don't typically go to sweets shops. Everything that I purchased had a non- overbearing taste. I would definitely come back :) If you are prepared for a sugar overload then come here!It can be pretty pricey so take that into consideration though I personally think it is justified. I only knocked off one star because the staff seemed over worked. Crowds of people kept coming in and only 3 people were working the counters (only 1 of the 3 took orders while also helping in the food preparation process). Them seeming understaffed for the night led to confusion with giving people the correct orders and working fast enough to meet the demands. This is definitely not a fault of the workers and I do wish I tipped more especially because they kept pleasant attitudes in a stressful environment.This may not be their typical crowd but that was one of the only cons I noticed while dining. There was also bright white lighting in the restaurant that was harsh to eat in, so be warned if you have sensitive eyes.Edit: I went again and the milkshakes were literally just runny milk with some flavorings. Even the whipped cream was flat and we had to wait like 20-25 minutes for them. I don't think I'll go again.
It’s really good!!! I had the waffle on a stick and I was going to give 5 stars until I got my strawberries and it had fine white hair all over and the young lady and the guy behind the counter tried to convince me that strawberries have that on them. Oh really!!! Since when!!! Because I’ve been eating strawberries all my life and never seen that so you can tell that to some 5 year old kids and see if the fall for it!!! So they said they would make more and now I see the guy washing off the strawberries which I didn’t see him do at first so maybe that was the problem the first time.
Worth the drive from Lafayette. Hands down absolutely amazing. I was shocked how great it was. Staff was super nice. Prices are great. Definitely recommend the crepes and the bubble waffle cones
Very friendly staff. The food was amazing! And even though I had never been before, they were very patient.
The waffles were good but the strawberry ice cream was pretty bad. It was icy and not creamy; tasted like it say in the freezer for months. Very disappointed given it was highly recommended to us.
Flowing three tier chocolate fountains are the first thing you see when you enter. Bubble waffles, Belgian waffles, crepes, ice cream, fruit, Nutella, cookie spread, and dark, milk, and whit chocolate combine to make desserts that satisfy your eyes, sweet tooth and soul. Excellent capstone for a date or family outing.
When I first walked in it looks like a little cafe. They even have seating outside. The music is in French and the two gentlemen were very kind.We ordered chocolate covered strawberries and man these things were huge. The strawberries were just right being dipped by hand and then set into the box to be decorated so that every box came out perfect.They have a small menu but excellent pricing and great craftsmanship if you want that perfect dessert I would suggest these guys in a heartbeat.
Everything was as beautiful it was in the photos. The set up was extremely nice and minimalistic, the music matched the vibes, and the crepe was so goood and pretty!
