Great neighborhood Italian restaurant. The service is always good and there's rarely a wait to be seated. There are plenty of tasty options on the menu, I like the ravioli and meatballs, spaghetti and meatballs, and lasagna. The pizzas and calzones are also excellent choices, if you like meat go with John the Butcher. For dessert be sure to try the beignet knots!
We had the garlic knots, chicken parmesean, create your own calzone, and the cookie dough pizza. All of them were DELICIOUS!!! I loved everything I ate, our server Mike went above and beyond. He was super knowledgeable about the menu and how the dishes were made and he was kind and fun to talk to. I love this place and I'm so glad we ate here.
Wife and I went out today hoping to find a new favorite Italian restaurant. We found it. Bistro Italia had top notch food, service and atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Looking forward to going back.
Out of towners just passing through Baton Rouge & we happened upon this restaurant. We arrived @8:15p and they were more than welcoming. We politely asked if they were still taking patrons and they said - C’mon on in with a BIG smile. They made everything fresh to order and even served us dessert. We had the eggplant rolatini, chicken Alfredo & cheese pizza. We were out within an hour with amazing food & the friendliest waitstaff.
Recommend checking out this local Italian restaurant! The food is great (tastes homemade), generous portions, and friendly staff. I’ll definitely be back!
If you're ever in Baton Rouge and want real Italian food, this is the place!!!! Food was great, the staff was great, the owner was awesome! Our waitress Brittney was fantastic in helping us decide on our order and was very accommodating!! 10 stars if I could, did i mention the food was Great!! We will be driving back to Mississippi full and happy!?
Food was good. The service was good. They were out of the lasagna and I got ravioli and meatballs. Loved the garlic bread.
First time to try Bistro Italia. LOVED IT! The staff were very friendly and the food was EXCELLENT! The owners work there. It feels like home!
The food was great! However I didn't feel like I belonged in there. The customer vibe was unmistakable...cause they stared at me, it was intense, and there was a disconnect with the staff.
Great pizza and apps. Good atmosphere. I look forward to trying more of the menu.
