Was our first time and we absolutely loved the meatball sub. Very tender meatballs with a delicious homemade sauce. The dessert was delicious too! Will definitely be back.

It's the best Italian food I've had in Louisiana. There's something to say for its consistency as well, it's the same quality food since they moved from Florida Blvd years ago and everytime I go it's great service and the same great taste.The desserts, coffees, and canned goods that they sell are the same types that I find at my Nonnas house and they're all worth a try.I like the sandwiches and muffuletta alot but my all time favorites have to be the spaghetti and the lasagna because I just haven't found anywhere else in Louisiana that does it like my Italian grandmother. Savory sauce with meatballs/sausage done the way I like.I'm not a big fan of the New Orleans style "add a cup of white sugar" to your Red Sauce that we see alot in Louisiana. So I appreciate Anthony's keeping it real with the savory tomato sauce. And their side salad with light amount of olive salad, oil/vinegar, and parmesan..? They're doing it right.
Service was lovely, and the food is simply incomparable! You MUST get the lasagna and the muffuletta. If you leave without a dessert (or two…or three..) you’re just plain missing out.
