May 2022Came for the first time--just seen it late on a Sat. evening drive, but this place has allegedly been opened for 3-4 years.I agree with the other reviews--the sauce is awesome! Dipping anything in that sauce would make it taste like the best thing you ever ate!Now I know where to go for some seafood if I want it because they will custom an order for you if the platters posted are too much for you to handle.I don't think this was a good season for crawfish--they were really small compared to last season.The sausage wasn't the best tasting or quality. The corn didn't seem boiled enough, and the boiled shrimp were very dry.Custom order is the best way to go.I wonder if I can buy a gallon of that sauce. Lol
We went to lastnight around 5:30pm. We have been here several times and LOVED it. Lastnight, we ordered 2 3lbs with extra potatoes (we didnt get all the extra potatoes) and the crawfish were so hard to peel once they got more boiled. We maybe were able to eat half of what we ordered and paid right at $40 for. I told one of the workers to try to maybe get some crawfish that were peelable and get the 3 extra potatoes we had ordered and she wasnt even trying to make it right and basically told me "oh well". Also, the staff wasnt a friendly as normal. I deff would love to atleast get half my money back being i overpaid for what we ended up getting and being able to eat. Very disappointed!
The seafood was overcooked. All the meat was stuck to the shell and very hard to peel. In addition, me and my son were both sick afterwards. It tasted good but did not treat our stomachs well as it gave both of us diarrhea. I will not be returning.
All I can say is baby! They were so professional and the sauce! Omg the sauce made the food taste so good! I have to come back to visit and get me some Sammy Crawfish King!
Never in Louisiana history, I had experience this visit. Rude employee. Who didn't even acknowledge a customer!! I paid 39.75. For half of order. Wow!!! Never again
Nice outdoor seating area, good crawfish. Wish the food was a little hotter (we came around lunch time), but overall good.
Horrible customer service. We ordered the "big crab" platter. The food was very bland & had a "fishy" taste. The crabs were either old or overly cooked which made cracking the shells impossible. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!
I've eaten at a lot of places for crawfish in my past year and a half and so far the set up and the way it's served has been my favorite. I got a aluminum foil tin full of crawfish and snow crab I got the Big Papa. Price wise a bit high but the flavor makes up for it.
Great crawfish and great customer service. Highly recommended.
Food was fantastic, and ready quickly. The people are great and super helpful! Plus, they’re the only ones doing dine in, when a lot of other places say they are, but only do carry out, or are closed when their sites say they’re open. Sammy’s didn’t disappoint though, and we’ll definitely be back!
