Best food ever great fast service very friendly
Happy times and great tasting eats!!! Haven’t ate hear in a while and I’m hear to tell you, service with southern hospitality, nice atmosphere and the food was awesome. Not pictured the raw oyster. I love them they were fresh, great tasting and the cocktail sauce whooohooo it had my mouth dancing. Not pictured: The boiled shrimp ? oh they had a nice little kick and flavorful I added a little lemon juice and ohhh yeah I ate so much. They also served A blacken red fish dish it came over a bed of fluffy rice topped with sautéed onions. Just the perfect amount of seasoning. Thank you Robbie G’s!!! See you next time.
This place is a must try if you’re in the area, especially if it’s crawfish season. The service is excellent. It is a roadside boil house, very casual, very local and they treat you like a regular.I had the crawfish (3 lbs, spicey) and they were almost perfect. 95% of the bugs were fresh, but there were a few in my plate that were older/frozen (if the meat sticks to the shell and is mushy, that’s some frozen crawfish). The spice level was perfect (I like it really spicy, and they delivered on that … my eyes even watered a bit for the first 15-20 bugs).Good section of beers and beverages. The bread pudding was the best I’ve ever had. I should say that I haven’t really had a lot of bread pudding in my life, but I read the reviews and figured I’d have to try it.It is amazing!!! Flat out incredible. But now I feel like I’m spoiled and will not be able to get bread pudding anywhere else this good (guess I’ll have to come back).
Had crawfish...they was extremely small and way over cooked. And underseasoned.....serves wS the only good thing about the place
Way overpriced food(if you can call it that, it’s more like prison slop or captain D’s) and the owners are condescending butt wipes that seem to have a huge stick stuck up there as well. 0 stars if I could rate in stars.
Food was ok… service was good … but they messed up our order … we were told oh it’s ok I’m not gonna charge you for this… and put the items on the table …get to the register and was hit with a larger tab than we expected.. paying for the food was not the issue . It was the fact that we weren’t given the option to decline. What if I didn’t have $153.00…..for future reference you should let the customer know what the additional charge is going to be and let them decide if they want the extra food or not.
Fried food was good. Half of the crawfish was squished or flat tailed, and the rest was bland and rubbery. The waitress was nice & kind of busy, but didn't bring menus and I felt very rushed to order. We waited a pretty good while for the crawfish. It wasn't the worst, but we won't be back.
Anytime we’re in this area, we visit Robbie G’s restaurant but this time it was so inferior to previous visits. They were out of oysters (one of the reasons why we went) and curly fries. So we ordered French fries and onion rings. The French fries were soft and half cooked and the onion rings barely had breading on them. The fried shrimp were small and they didn’t taste fresh. We felt like we were eating fried shrimp from a chain restaurant. And our total meal cost was $50!! What a huge disappointment! We had much better fried shrimp/oysters in Pensacola for half the price. Sadly we won’t be back.
Was told 8filets in large catfish...only received 7 filets. Also no Cole slaw. Their excuse is you have to ask for it. Nothing on menu stating that. Their excuse to this is waiting to print new menus in spring. They could have big sign informing customer of this change. Have lost me as a customer. Also most decent would compensate an upset customer somehow. No offer was made.
Went for lunch. Wife ordered 5lbs crawfish. Could not eat them. Mushy and fishy. Found out as we were leaving they weren't fresh but warmed up from the.previous day.
