Did curbside pick up. Checked in, waited 15 minutes, called, no answer(rang 20 + times), went in, food on pick up rack but tea and lemonade not available. Poor service (didn't expect much but this was pathetic). Chicken good!
My Wife was at this Canes Chicken.She said, It was very good food and probably some of the cleanest nicest restrooms she have ever seen in a restaurant .
The service was slow but friendly and the food well worth the wait. The dining room and grounds were well kept. The music was far too loud.
If the lines are long at Popeyes this is the go too. Canes is awesome. Get the Arnold Palmer it will make your day.
My first time going there in Alexandria LA there's isn't one in Florida. It reminds me of zaxbys with the tenders. I will stop by again if there's one around when I'm on the road traveling.
They have people, not microphones, not some magic voice in a box, but actual living breathing people standing in the drive thru lanes (yes they have 2) to take your order and payment unless you pay cash which would be handled at the pick up window.
The dual lane drive thru needs work but it is better than the single lane.
Accommodates substitutions nicely. Staff is very happy and friendly and food is great.
I wish I could give them a -0 Star. I live in Texas but I'm originally from Alexandria,I was on my way out back to Texas so I stop to get something to eat before leaving. I pulled in the 2nd drive thru and it was 2 vehicles ahead of me once I got to the speaker to order I sit there 15 minutes and I watched car after car pull up order and move in the 1st drive thru. So the 2 cars behind me backed up and went over to the 1st drive thru and so did I after again waiting 15 minutes, so after we moved over here comes a employee to put up the orange cones to close the lane, that's was the rudest and most inconsiderate thing I ever seen so you tell me they couldn't said this lane closed, or sent the employee out and said after you this lane is closed. So that means they watched me at the speaker and never said a word! So after getting my food and getting on the highway to head to Texas I open the box to eat and the tenders was maybe the size of a pinky finger and the bread was NOT DONE, I had to get home otherwise I would've went back and got my money back. When I stopped to fill my tank up I threw that right where it belongs in the trash and bought me a bag of chips to eat. I will NEVER waste my time or money there again. From not telling me the 2nd drive thru was closed to the small portion not done food!!
Chicken pieces are smaller than white you expect but they still taste great
