This is a wonderful place to eat a true family place. It was crowded but I only waited a few minutes before I got a seat. The food is very good I had the Eggs Benedict and it was terrific ?. I can't wait to go back.
We went here on a Saturday and wanted some diner style food.So this place is just OKAY! Would I go back - MAYBE!? Probably for a quick bite or so. Was the food great - Not really. It was really just okay.We ordered eggs benedict + waffles.Eggs Benedict were meh. Pic attached. We should’ve stuck to basic eggs like scrambled or fried. And not tried to go fancy.Waffles were not bad - very heavy. Our waitress did warn us but we were hungry!Coffee was good. Bacon was good & crispy.Restaurant is not very clean. They can do a better job with cleanliness.Couple of tables had just finished eating when we got our food. So the waitresses bring the cleaning cart out to clear the tables. But while we were eating, they were clearing the tables & it was hella noisy. Couldn’t really eat in peace. Extremely noisy!Our waitress was very nice. 5-stars to her.
Server was nice and friendly. The food was alright as far as breakfast goes. The place has been there a very long time. But the old fashioned syrup... That's something you should be warned about. That's really my only complaint as after I found out I didn't eat my pancakes.
2-20-22Came here for the first time after church...and I will Never return.The waiting staff is awesome. The food? Yuck. Yuck. Yuck.Too Expensive for The Lowest Quality processed foods!I had the country breakfast with scrambled eggs and sausge links. The eggs were very dry and cold--not edible. The grits were okay, but...they serve entirely too much of it.My breakfast companion enjoyed his "pile" order and ate it up like he was starving. We both were VERY hungry, but I will not subject myself to eating food just to make a happy plate. Lol Oh...the hash browns and orange juice were okay and kept my hunger pains at bay.The food I ordered is dog food. At least Queen, the family dog, will get to enjoy something outside of her regular dog food. It's a delicacy for animals...but Not for humans who know what good food tastes like.My taste buds may be spoiled, and I am sure yours are, too, if you haven't been incarcerated for decades.I won't be returning here.
Waitress was fast and attentive until i found out it was a Pre pay diner... paid and added tip...then didn't see waitress until my food came out....cook was alone in the back and overworked. Management needs to hire more staff or they're going to burn out what they have.
Went to lunch today 2/14 and was told by the manager we could not sit in large booth because we only had 4 people. Small booth would not fit everybody without discomfort but that was all we were allowed to do. So one person on each side sat with half on the seat and half out in the aisle. The restaurant was not busy at all. Poor management for asking us to move. We will not be back to Pitt Grill after this encounter and will be telling anyone that asks about our ordeal.
My 1st time here was nothing short of amazing. Servers were great and the cooks. Atmosphere was friendly. Great Job yall! Keep up the great work!
Great tasting shrimp po boy, especially the bread. Jasmine provided excellent service. Wifi available, just ask for the code.
Saturday early and already packed. Ordered traditional breakfast. Food is always cooked to our taste. All employees are usually friendly and courteous. Great food.
Today was not their best day. The woman who waited on us, did so out of her area because the one assigned did seem to care about cleaning up a table to sit at and was doing as little as possible to work. They are short staffed but having one person doing 85% of the work is for the birds. Our food was luke warm, grits congealed, smoked sausage had a "I'm not eating this" taste. Small bite left a sour, old taste in your mouth. The manager was doing the best she could, our waitress was working hard, cooks worked hard, just takes 2 people to cause a huge slow down and disappointment . Been here several times before and it was never, ever bad...until today.
