Too expensive my wife and I ate there today and all it was ,was a plate lunch and our bill was 43 dollars.I get plate lunches around my house all day for 8.99 dollars

Wow, what a wonderful treat to happen upon this amazing place yesterday while traveling through Alexandria. Huge portions of some of the best food we’ve eaten (my favorite étouffée ever!) and great service from wonderful folks. No doubt we will look for a reason to be back!
Mold in ice and on cornbread. Can’t talk to staff cause too busy talking with each other instead of cleaning the place. Manager is too busy to answer the phone.

Hands down good southern cooking!!! We’re from TX drove by in way home from visiting FL. The service was wonderful and food delicious!! They give you big portions and a free slice of dessert cake!! Will be dinning here again in the future!! Another thing to add is they have clean restrooms which is big for me when I dine!!! ;)
