Found on Google Maps while looking for places to go in the area, and I can never turn down a mom and pop style coffee house, and with waffles!? Absolutely must stop.I got a butterscotch latte and it was good, not too rich. I also have the same thing to say about the waffle sampler. The flavors were balanced with the waffles. Very good. I don’t like things excessively sweet personally, which is why balanced and not too rich are solid points for me.Bacon was thick-cut and served crispy, and the eggs had runny yolk which we wanted with over-medium.I didn’t have the hashbrown, so can’t speak on it… but the grits were DELICIOUS. I’m just returning to the continental states and good grits were not to be found.If you’re in the area, I would say this little place is a can’t miss.

I was skeptical about this place because I heard nothing about it. I stepped out of my normalcy and tried it. It was delicious. I now have a favorite breakfast spot with my daughter. You won’t regret it. I surely did not. Awesome job to workers and the cooks. Thank you for a wonderful experience and delicious food.
Stopped in twice this week while traveling through Alexandria. Both times the staff was absolutely wonderful. The shrimp and grits are amazing, as is the waffle monte cristo and sweet potato fries! Also grabbed a blueberry scone for a late night snack and it was delicious. Highly recommended!
The food was pretty good. I'll definitely return. We ordered some of everything. The gumbo was hearty, but could use more seasoning. The breakfast items were great!
