Our waiter was very polite. I was impressed when he didn't write down our four orders... UNTIL they weren't correct! (I didn't want cheese in my omelette, someone else was supposed to get toast but didn't, and we were told the grits would take a while but were finally told by the manager that they don't have grits!)?♀️ However, the food that we did get was cooked perffectly and tasted delicious! ?
Visited this restaurant on July 4 roughly 11:30am. I was very disturbed with my less than meaningful interaction with them. I walked in and a white couple(no disrespect) walked in behind me. I approached the counter first. There were already numerous guest waiting to be seated. I stood first and the couple stood in line behind me waiting. After seven minutes of wait we were finally acknowledged, so I thought. The Caucasian server with the long coal black hair approached the counter didn’t even speak or acknowledge I was standing there but proceeded to acknowledge the couple behind me. I was so astonished and at dismay that I literally stood there for five seconds to take it all in and walked out.
Stopped in for breakfast. Everything was cooked to order. Our waitress was nice and friendly. A great experience!
Worst service ever. Just WOW. Got over charged on an order. Ok no problem. The guy in charge could not figure out how to just give the change back. He wanted to refund the whole amount and then run the card again for the right amount. but wait, your refund on your card will take around 5 days to come back. NO, I DONT THINK SO. Just give me the change for what you over charged me! If I give you a 20 for a $15 ticket you bring change! If you take OVER $40 you bring me my change no difference. The guy even sent the cook out because he didn't want to come out.
Don’t do it. With no one there, you will still have to wait an hour. The customer service is the worst I have ever seen. This is not been the first time but today we walked in and waited half an hour and people who were already before us said they were waiting an hour. No one was seated and tables were empty. We left. If they can’t accommodate customers they should close the doors. We walked to Buffalo wild wings next-door and was seated immediately. Buffalo wild wings had twice as many patrons than IHOP‘s. The management at IHOP’s in Alexandria, La is awful and obviously needs adjustment. .
It took us 3 hours to receive our food. The cooks were joking and laughing. They made our food with no haste. We were also told that even if we ordered first any DoorDash orders that came through would be prioritized.A black woman came in and was told that they were not serving anyone else that night and she had to leave, but a group of Hispanic men came in 10 minutes later and they were told to wait 20 minutes.I will never order there again.
My experience with ihop in 4/2022 My husband and I went two weekends in a row the evening shift's confused and short handed I witnessed several couples complain about their food being burned , some walked out , because the wait time was too long , we waited about and hour to be seated while half the place was sectioned off and closed . I figured they were short of help ? Our order was great the first weekend, the next Saturday we went expecting the same tasty omelets. this time the food was old and dried out I didn't eat mine and I was hungry
Restaurant wasn’t full, but still had to wait 20 minutes to be seated, 5 minutes to be greeted by our waitress and 30 minutes for food. People that showed after us got seated before us. You could also hear the kitchen staff having a verbal altercation in the back. Terrible
Food was good to say that I DON'T get a chance to Dine in there very often. Everything was Delish. Service from waitress stated her name was HEAVENLY.Her Service was AMAZING!!! My girlfriend and I REALLY enjoyed her performance AND personality.Need MORE service like that makes tipping a pleasure.Nice going IHOP.??
Tiffaney was very kind and pleasant. She was attentive and remained professional, though lots of customers were complaining about the wait. We had to wait a very long time for our food to come out as well. Literally 55 minutes, they said they were short staff that day (Saturday 19 Feb 2022 @10:45am). But our food was delicious ? ??
