06/11/22- Yesterday, I ate the best and tenderest steak in town that was seasoned to perfection and Michael ( my waiter) was really nice and very helpful! 5 star service all across the board… I mean, I was charged $15! Where can you get that at AND eat all you want !?!?! I have a Culinary Arts Degree and was VERY IMPRESSED and I will definitely be back! Keep up the great work!
Our waitress was so friendly and sweet! They have so many amazing options to choose from! I even had chicken and dumplings. They come really close to home-made! Love the hospitality here!
Passing through outta town & went in and Young Lady was getting off Register. Never acknowledged we were standing there to order. Two Young men working in the back fixing Drive thru orders, never asked or Called for someone to come to Register for Clients to make an order. Lobby was Very Nasty & of course it did not Smell too Great. We turned around & walked outta that Poorly kept Establishment.This place just need to Close Shop! Horrible place to Eat!!!
Wonderful food considering its a buffet and the price, great selection of southern classics and even a taco and salad bar. The grill master is top notch and really knows how to cook a steak. Only complaint is they are so busy it can be very hard to get a refill at times and breakfast can be a bit salty for my likeing but lunch and dinner is top notch.
Food and experience has greatly improved. My only issue is certain foods need to be constantly cooked so you won't have your customers standing and waiting (fried chicken, fried fish, shrimp, etc). But when I do get the chance to have these things, they are wonderful. I thank yall for all that you do.
Best deal in town considering how you gotta spend $20 to get a hamburger meal now. When it is crowded it is hard to get the food you really came there for. But you will definitely get your money's worth.
Always loved going to Golden Corral. Food is always fresh and delicious. Last visit to the Alexandria location, was trying to have a nice lunch with my wife and they let solicitors inside the restaurant who were disrupting customer's meals trying to sell their products. Very unprofessional of the management.
One of the best experiences ever when we went. We hadn't been there since December 2019. Manager was great, server was excellent, food tasted better than ever and was fresh and often changed out. A+++
My husband and I won’t be going back. We wanted to go back after they reopened and we finally did. We regret it. The person cooking steak doesn’t know how to do it. He smashes the steak while it’s on the grill and it was really rare which is not what my husband asked for. Before they closed this location down for a while, they steak was awesome. The rest of the food really didn’t have flavor. The ranch dressing on the salad bar didn’t taste like ranch. It ruined the salad for us. The catfish and shrimp was just okay. The mushrooms didn’t even taste like they had salt. The MSG is unreal! I had a small serving of strawberry shortcake, it was good. My husband had red velvet cake, it was good and not dry. Our server was the best of our experience. I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name. She stayed on top of refilling our drinks and checked on us. I would also like to mention that the restaurant looks a lot nicer than it did before.
We love Golden Corral. Too many food choices and it was all good
