Darrel's has some GOOD FRIED CHICKEN! The shrimp poboy was tasty and well executed, but just not what I am used to in Lafayette.She really liked the BLT. OH YEAH, the shakes are awesome! I had a peanut butter and chocolate one, and enjoyed every sip! French fries were pretty darn good also!Will be repeat customers.They need to increase the tonnage of their to a/c, it can't keep up with the temps since g global warming started kicking out butts!
Darrell’s is a great local restaurant with small selection of good food. My favorite is the DM Cheeseburger with seasoned fries and drink. Please add Darrell sauce to dip everything.
Hair in hamburger. Never going back again. Based on questionable service experience it seemed deliberate. I’ll find a new spot during my trips to Alex moving forward without hair as a topping.
We ordered burgers, fries and chicken livers. If you like those you'll love it here. Livers were cooked so tender, just right. Burgers were good burgers and the fries were great.
The last few times I tried eating at Darrell's I basically drove off because of the length of wait in the drive through.So, today I decided, give them another try!WRONG DECISION!Ironically, the wait wasn't bad...The food was Horrible!I order two piece White.I got two piece dark!The rice dressing was a Styrofoam cup of grease with my grease! Oh, did I mention the grease!The chicken smelled and tasted like s*#t. I couldn't even eat it.Basically, I paid $7.69 for a leg, a grease cup of rice and a fountain drink.Well, 1,2, strike 3. You are outta there.You will never see me again.To many other Great! place to eat.See yah, thank God I don't have to eat with yah!
Been going here since opening in Alexandria. Today went through the drive through only to get home to Woodworth with the wrong food. Called and was called by by the owner and he delivered my order to me. Service like no other especially in the times we are in these days.
Best fried chicken and burgers in town for the price. We've stopped eating at Popeyes and KFC since discovering this place!
A local favorite for fried chicken, burgers, and other great traditional American food. I've never met anyone that doesn't enjoy Darrell's. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Friendly staff and convenient locations make for a pleasurable experience every time.
Came to grab a quick bite after visiting the zoo. The restaurant was clean and the food was good. Great value for the money. Would definitely come back.
They were alright. They just don't charge what's on the menu. They say you can get a dinner with two pieces, side, and a drink for 4.99, but she charged me 1.95 a piece for my chicken. They charged me 2.95 for my side. They charged me .91 for my drink. Do the math.
