The employees here are above and beyond!!!! They make sure you food is correct, hot and tastes good. You have to wait a minute for it. But will definitely make this place a go to from now on. Whoever owns it though needs to get some cooler air for the employee work station. The dine in side was really cool and comfortable. But it was miserable standing waiting to order. I can only imagine how bad it was for them working. I offered to go buy them a fan and bring it in. So whoever owns this place fix it. You have some amazing employees who are polite, friendly and happy. Despite working it a hot and muggy job area!!!!!! Don't lose them.
I always stop at Captain D's when I'm in Alexandria because it's my absolute favorite place to eat! The food always hot and fresh! The drinks are horrible but the food is great and delicious!
The two ladies were AWESOME! The food was tasty and on point! Would like to visit again sometime.
Management and or owners of this place has changed for the worst. I used to go here with my family a couple of times a month and was decent food but this past weekend me and my family went there to eat and as soon as we walk in we got the negative feeling from the workers they did not want to do their job they was rude and the person at the counter got our order wrong and then filled drinks and gave to us then said we will have to check them to see what is what because she didn't care to label it or tell us then she spilled one of the drinks all over us and the counter, then once we got the food we was missing 2 orders and then she had attitude saying they gave us our order but we didn't get our full order so it was the worst experience we've ever had here and we will not go back ever again they lost us as customers for good.
The staff and food were great!! That would get a 5 stars . My reason for one star is, this Captain D's is not ADA compliant. I could not get my sister in law in the door without a struggle. Remove the useless divider wall and make a double door access into the lobby. This is 2022 and this should not be an issue.
Horrible. They apparently changed the type of fish they use without communicating it to their customers. It tastes more like chicken. I was so disappointed because it’s been a while since I’ve eaten here. Not only that, Whenever I went in to get a refund, everyone in the building was complaining that the fish was disgusting. I held Captain D’s to a higher standard than this! I will not be returning.
Done! I will never eat at this Captain D's again. Got a seafood platter for lunch on Sunday, within an hour I was sick, which lasted 2 days. I'm contemplating turning them in to the Health Department!

Food was not good. Fish & shrimp over fried. Baked potato under cooked. Will not be back.
Great food, and great service. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Ty, the lady at the front counter was very friendly and helpful to all of the customers, and she set the tone for the atmosphere of the entire place. It was a good experience for us.
