Grits weren't good, sausage was dry, cheese wasn't fully melted. My friend's omelet was really greasy. She threw up in the parking lot.
Grits were luke warm if that. I had to send the bacon back 3 times before it was crispy. Brought one plate probably 5 minutes before the rest of us. We pray then eat together. So I know his was not hot because mine wasn't and I ate as soon as it came out. Was charged for stuff that wasn't on our table. I went over it and found it. He took it off but how many don't go over it. Totally dissatisfied!
We stopped in here late at night. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. The cook had our food out fast and it was perfected to order.
The staff was friendly but the food was subpar. The restaurant was freezing because they didn't have the heat but they did turn it on when we asked. The water in the restroom does not get hot, only freezing cold.
There's a new sheriff in town! New manager, Andrew, was amazing. An impressive young man with great work ethic and excellent customer service. Tiffany gave us great service with a friendly smile.
Traveling home after Christmas. Stayed at hotel next door and was excited there was Waffle House here. Went in and the counter and booths on one side of restaurant were closed off. You know they dont have much seating anyways!! So DONT waste your time stopping!!!!
Upon entering the restaurant I was greeted with a "welcome to the waffle house". Gave me the feeling that I was welcome and wanted. I placed my order to go. They were training a new girl so I placed my order slowly that way she could be shown how to write it down. It was a simple order the 2 egg breakfast and a side order of biscuits and gravy.
Worst waffle house ever! 7 employees and still stood in line for 30min. Understand it being Christmas and was a little busy 19 customers in house. Sign on door said take out only. So we got in line ...waited...waited..waited, then four women came in and took a booth and was immediately waited on with less than a minute. My party and the five other customers that was in line behind us just walked out. Oh I forgot tobsay that they had half the the seats cut off including the stools at the counter. Won't be back.
This visit was terrible the manager and one staff member was very disrespectful to a homeless person. She didnt have money for food after being confronted they offered her a bowl of chili and a customer paid for her to have anything she wanted. However another customer tried to show his displeasure with the manager and the manager was very disrespectful to the customer and caused a scene that should have been avoided. One customer that already ordered ask the manager to drop it so the homeless person's food was paid for. The manager would not let it rest the customer told manager that if she didnt stop he was leaving and the manager said leave. I eat at this place at least once a week and enjoy the food and staff with family however with management like that I have not been back and will probably go back if I see same manager on duty I will go elsewhere.
We had the cheeriest little elf serving us and she was wonderful. Her and the cook didn't grumble when we came in, and they served us quick. Food was good.
