This place was great! The staff was very freimdly and attentive. And fast. We must've gotten used to slower service due to worker shortages, but the waitress surprised use by getting our food to us very quickly. And the food was amazing, too. Best pulled pork and brisket I've had in a while. ?
Some the best BBQ in the state! Food was excellent, service was outstanding, and had very little wait after I ordered. Highly recommend!
Was visiting from out of state and got the taste for some good ol BBQ. This restaurant popped up first on google search so decided to give them a try. It was around 11am and place was pretty darn busy. The smell as soon as u walked in if u wasn’t too hungry u would be after smelling that Smokey BBQ smell !! The welcoming atmosphere was so Lovely ☺️. Waitress was ?!!!! Food was Pure Deliciousness!! Haven’t been, Gotta Go?!!
Call me crazy but when passing by Richmond, we stop for the evening and the only choice for dinner is Sonny's. Mama loves the ribs and brisket is my desire. We were exhausted to physically go out for dinner so the picnic was back in the hotel room.Definitely the biggest side container I ever saw. Please open a Sonny's in Caledonia, Wisc.
Sonny's BBQ is one of my favorite stops whenever I'm traveling. So glad I found this location. We were to early for the location at Corbin which has been my favorite stop for years. The food at this location just as good as always well worth the drive.
Did a pick up order. Est Time ready was 805. Arrived and called at 810, they said they would be right out. At 835 I called again to find out why they hadn't come out. They told me they would be right out. At 845 I went inside to get the food. Had to wait till someone came to the counter. The woman stated noone told her I was there. I took my food to the car and started to drive home. The wife handed the food to the kids and it was ice cold. When we got home we realized they forgot 2 kids sides and a main side. I was very disappointed all around in this experience and chances are I will never eat there again despite having eaten there previously with no issues.
As always, Sonny’s hit the spot!!! We don’t have Sonny’s where I live, so having grown up on ‘all-you-can-eat’ chicken just about every Sunday, it brings back fond memories to eat there any chance I get. Besides the food and service here at the Richmond location was great! We went during a time that they weren’t real busy, but everything was fresh.
The family feast was my latest food from this Sonny's. It was huge, 3 of us ate two meals out of it. They have remodeled with a more open look. Their food has always been good & remains so. This location is above others in the chain in terms of food quality. Our waiter was new but was great. We did have a loose tabletop & had to move, sadly they seated another party @ it before we left.
Ordered $50 worth of food. They completely forgot one whole meal and then when we went back to get it they still forgot to put BBQ sauce in the bag, as well as give him his drink that came with the meal. Our corn nuggets were burnt as well as the cornbread. We normally order from here often and after the manager not even offering anything extra and STILL forgetting stuff after we went back a second time. I'll be giving our business to one of the other BBQ places in town next time.
