If you like hot, fresh, home cooked meals at a great price this is the place! From the numerous different daily entrees and side choices to choose from to the delicious home made desserts, which include pies, cakes, cookies, candy, turnovers, banana pudding and cheesecakes…just to name a few, this is the place to go! Always hot, delicious, and enough to fill even the biggest appetites! This is a hidden gem to many but a favorite of the locals! Casual, laid back atmosphere. Reminiscent of grandma’s kitchen on a Sunday afternoon. Highly recommend!
Traveling through Kentucky and stopped by. Saw it posted on Facebook and had to try it. Delicious!!! Will be sure to return if we travel back this way. I would recommend!??
My greatest fear, that people all around the world will read my review and this place will never be the same again.First, the service is awesome.Second, the food is awesome.GET THE HOME FRIES! I had the western omelette and the only way it could have been better would be sitting at the grill while it was cooking.This is not a chain and if you want microwave warmed food this is not the place you want. , We just weren't in the mood for buffet.The food bar looked great
I was on a trip to region and saw this place mentioned on "Only in your state". I was having a hard time finding good local non chain places around Richmond and so glad I stopped here! They have meat, vegetables and breads cafeteria style for a very reasonable price. I had the roast beef with greens and cornbread quite tasty just like family cooking. Prices are very reasonable and they have t shirts too! Parking right out front and is located just off Main part of old downtown Richmond

OMG….we were in Richmond this weekend for a dance competition and loved this restaurant so much we went Friday and Saturday and are going back again in the morning for breakfast!!!! A true mom and pop diner with real, homemade food and pies!!! Great prices, super friendly and delicious food. The fried pickles, mashed potatoes with gravy and butterscotch pie are crazy good. We also loved the cheeseburger, catfish and fried pork chop. You’ve got to try this place!!!! (Sorry, pics aren’t great but you get the gist).
The food at Jacksons is excellent. It’s home cooking at its finest. It reminded me so much of eating at my Grandma’s when I was a child. We were visiting for a weekend and ate here 2x because the food was that good!
My first time at Jackson's was way better than words can say! The staff and local folks eating inside from the minute my kids and I walked in the Love of Christ was flowing everywhere! My kids stated to me that they both never felt so comfortable with strangers in their life! The food was over the top Amazing!!! Thank you to all God Blessed us to have met Sunday! We will be back!
So 1st let me say I am not a buffet person... so the food bar here really didn't interest me. However its the reason most people go...However, I ordered off the menu and got the Atomic Burger. Ok that was a fantastic burger... will be going back just for the great burgers. My wife did have something from the food bar and noted it was tasty...So if you want the bar I'd say go for it but I'd encourage you to order some fresh and get a burger.
Really delicious food here. I like the food bar but sometimes perfer the menu, I love the choices! We have come here a couple of times and you just can't beat their prices plus their food tastes like home cookin.
