Food was excellent! Server was absolutely horrible. I’ve never experienced a server with bad attitude and no people skills at all! Over heard my server on the phone talking about the owner rubbing on her and his wife was in the same building but she would allow it if she got want she wanted. Don’t no what it is that she wanted and don’t care. My drinks stayed empty cause our server was to busy on her phone. Our server name was alley. On another note we will be back but hopefully we will have a different server. my husbands ultimate club was huge and he loved it. Fries were hot, and our fried pickles and fried mushrooms were battered up like no other! Responding to Coopers reply: It’s no big deal to my husband or myself what is true or not. We just thought it was a pretty interesting conversation she had while we’re waiting for a refill for 10 minutes while she is getting paid to talk on her cellular device and not attend to my husband and I too make sure we were okay and satisfied. Hospitality has gone to hell!
I had been wanting to try this place for so long and after my dinner tonight I will not be back. Our waiter was new which is fine (everyone is going thru it there) but I wish it didn't mean our experience had to suffer. We tried to order a side ahead of our meal as an appetizer and never received it since they made it part of my husband's $25 rib-eye meal which tho cooked well, quality wise he compared it to Golden Corral after half of it came out in gristle. My kids said their food was "wet" and cold. My hot brown was okay. The manager was super nice so it was honestly hard to complain and she did adjust our bill a very small amount , but it was a very disappointing.. very over priced meal.
Visiting from out of town did a quick google search to find a place to eat. Was seated rite away and our order was taken. The poor guy that took our order was very nervous and said it was his second day. Our food was brought out the hot wings that my husband Chad ordered had absolutely no sauce on them and the fries he ordered were not brought to the table. I had to go ask for the sauce and the fries. Manager bought the sauce to our table she did apologize but informed us that we were guinea pigs for this kid. I will not recommend this establishment to anyone it honestly reminded me of something chef Ramsey would film a reasturant rescue on
We were expecting a different menu that is mentioned on their website, fried pork chops, fried chicken, vegetables, etcIt's a sports bar much like other sports bars. The food was okay but nothing special.
Was my favorite dining place until Friday 3/11/22. Ordered all you can eat catfish, water and a beer. Waited a good 45 minutes Got our water in first 15 minutes no beer. Our food was good when it finally came. Three pieces catfish and told waitress to put in another order of fish as I finished my first piece. Wife had ordered regular meal Ate the remaining fish and waited another 15 minutes and no catfish. Waitress brought our ticket which charged for all you can eat plus regular meal and a beer (20 oz) which I never received. Told waitress the beer needed to be taken off as the all you can eat catfish and charge for regular meal. Waitress replied “I’ll get the beer because it will come out of my check as the all you can eat catfish”. Told her I didn’t want the beer as it had been over an hour by then nor any more fish Waitress oh I can’t do that. Told her I would pay for exactly what I received and no more. After another 15 minutes brought another ticket which had two regular catfish meals which was fine but also had a chicken meal. Brought that to her attention and she went to change the ticket. By then my wife had taken over as I was at my limit. I had computed what I owed and included taxes and a 20% tip( the waitress didn’t set the rules and i question the legality of her having to pay for food and drink that wasn’t served). We even asked to speak to the manager and was told the manager was fussing at the waitress. Anyway we paid for what we got plus 6% tax and a 20% tip. A night out to enjoy completely ruined. Wished we had stayed home and had a hot dogUpdateReturned to Coopers two weeks later after much debate with myself. This time the service was excellent (Amber I believe was the server). Food was excellent and even got my beer promptly. Maybe it was the waitress last time? Your experiences will vary with the experience and politeness of the employee(s) as is true anywhereI don’t know but glad I went back and hope my next visit will be as good as my last
Finally decided to try this place and let me say, there is a reason I always go to Lexington on a Saturday night for dinner. This place was absolutely horrible. Came in a little after 5 pm on a Saturday night. Seated right away. Only one table seated when we was seated. Took drink order. Returned and took food order. And that was last time we saw our waitress. Finally another waitress asked if we had been helped and we said we placed order 30 minutes ago. She retrieved our food. And our fries were warm on top and ice cold on bottom. Who knows how long was under heat lamp. Remember we still have not had contact with our waitress. 30 minutes later we still didn’t have fries asked for manager and she took care of our bill and we left with only eating a BLT and a Philly Cheese. Both were delicious. Service was horrible.
Was on a business trip in the area beginning of March 2022 and decided to try this place out. The waitress was very attentive. Food was delicious. Atmosphere was not bad. I could see them being super busy during a big sporting event. But they weren’t busy at all when I went. Would definitely go again.
Great experience! The nachos, hot brown and catfish were perfect. Our server, Jackie I believe, was very attentive and friendly. What is certainly eat here again.
We came in on Saturday December 11th before going to the Nutcracker at the EKU arts center. We had already been to Olive Garden and Logan’s to try to get a table and had a wait at both places, so I called Cooper’s. I was told there wasn’t a wait and we could be seated when we got there. We got seated and then were told that they were and hour and a half behind due to Christmas parties and we shouldn’t have been seated. We then spoke to management and she bent over backwards to get us taken care of. The server was fantastic! She was running around like crazy but she made sure we were taken care of. We also tried to be prepared for whatever we needed when she stopped to check on us. Cooper’s get an A++++++ for great service and getting us on to the ballet on time. It will continue to be a regular place for us to go.
Party of 6 had great service even with 2 waitress. The onion apertizer was great. Food was really good blacken catfish was my meal. Supporting local businesses in these time a must. Like all they struggling to get help.
