Be warned this restaurant still does not have dine in (thanks covid). That's fine but their website should indicate that.After we ordered and overpaid, we were told that the sign at the walk up window is not correct and prices are higher. They don't print receipts so we aren't sure what we were charged for. Sign said 5.69 plus tax. Charged over 7. (Not much, but it's the principle).Our order was wrong.What we did receive was not like the past. Small pre-made patty instead of a fresh burger.2 stars instead of 1 because the food was hot and the girl at the window was pleasant.
This place is a gem. I come here after i deliver my last stop in my semi truck am able to park here to eat before I make my drive back to Jeffersonville IN. They have a big menu with plenty to choose from and the food comes out fast, fresh and is consistent in quality, all the while having a help needed sign out. The food is way cheap for what you get. Can easily get full for under $10. So far I only wish they had beef hotdogs. Friendly staff. I wish I had photos to share but the food gets in my belly too fast.
I had what they call a barbecue but there was no barbecue sauce whatsoever on it and she had chicken nuggets it look like they'd been laying the road and run over and then overcooked. I will say the milkshake was good but so is steak and shake down the road and that's where I'll go the next time I will not stop it cook out. I usually don't give bad reviews this one deserved it.
Let me just say I have never, ever, been more pleased in a fast food burger joint then I was at Cook Out! The food was delicious and the drive through worker was kind and funny! He definitely made the meal that much better. I had never thought to put Chilli on a burger until after eating here and now I'm gonna have to do it more often! I give Cook Out a 10/10(5 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)
They have the best burgers and milkshakes I have ever had in my life! My go to is the chili cheese burger and a peanut butter/banana milkshake. Their fries are amazing too! It is my new favorite fast food place to eat by far!
This place has great food - it's why I keep coming back every month - but BE SURE TO CHECK IT BEFORE YOU LEAVE! I don't know what it is with this store, but 40% of the time my order is wrong in some way.Most of the time the order is taken properly, it's just not prepared properly. Maybe the left off a requested vegetable or sauce. Or maybe they forgot one of the two sides to your tray. Or maybe, like this past weekend, they gave you a burger instead of the requested barbecue grilled chicken. Each visit is a surprise in that way.The only thing consistent about this place is their inconsistency. I'd like to say this is the result of a new employee or two. But it's been an ongoing issue since they closed their indoor dining space. At this point, it's clearly a management issue.
1st time here, menu confused me a little, make sure to say exactly what you want on your burger thats exactly what you will get nothing more. Which is not a bad thing it really is what you make it but the cheese burger was really good, def give it another try now that i know how it works
Cook out puts a new twist on late night drive thru!!! The food is fresh and is being made as soon as you put your order in and don't forget there remarkable, must have Milkshake! You will thank me later.
The BBQ pulled pork, Cole slaw on the side, and chicken quesadillas are absolutely wonderful. The staff are super friendly and upbeat. Highly recommend!!
I always enjoy cookout. The service is good, food is delicious, milkshakes are exceptional. Definitely a go-to for a quick, delicious meal.
