Cheap menu and good ice cream in a vintage setting and building. The downsides are they doing accept cards and only have two main flavors of ice cream. Don't let this discourage you, they add toppings and things in their shakes and sundaes.
The food is good, but personally its not what it used to be. They do have really good soft serve though. Wed eat there again.
Staff was friendly, food was awesome and reasonably priced. As we ate we noted that the staff was really taking good care of the cooking area, cleaning and maintaining. we were actually pretty impressed by their diligence to maintain a clean space despite being very busy. So props to those ladies! I don't know their names but am giving the staff my best ?. Great Job, thanks for the service!

Would like to try it out sometime but I never have cash on hand. Really bad business decision to not accept credit cards.
A local told me the place had been around since the 40's. Food was good and relatively quick with the lunch crowd. Prices are good, especially for the food quality. Very friendly staff. Will definitely stop in while in the area.
Since 1975 have always loved it here. It's at the top of my list when driving back to My ol ky home.

If you’re wanting good food and nostalgia, you got to come here! Dorsie’s as got a heaping amount of options such as hotdogs, hamburgers, corn dogs, milkshakes, etc. Now they are pricey but you definitely get your money’s worth. This place is basically a historical landmark for Pikeville. There hours are a little different, they close at 5:30 instead of 6:00.
