The food and service was great! The poor waitress and cook was doing the best they could but the owner really needs to hire more help.
as a former employee it is hard not to be too harsh on the staff but when my wife myself and a friend walked in there was only one other customer that being said it still took 15 mins to get a drink order an we had to request a spoon the server was hostile and upon our food arriving the order was wrong the server seemed overwhelmed despite us being their only table i have worked there 3 plus years an cannot recall the mount of times we were short staffed and still managed to hold our own if this is cooperate id rather Hutch take them back because this is horrible i dont know if i will ever go back
Great service I always go there and drink coffee some times I end up eating I recommend this to everyone
I really enjoy the food in the staff there however me and my father ate in there the day before yesterday and the only thing the saying that we had was a biscuits and gravy sausage gravy and we ended up with a stomach virus I have been unable to contact or call the store to let them know they don’t pick up the phone and put me in a hospital and got my dad less sick for me but he still have to suffer the consequences of it I believe it’s a clean store but accidents happen it’s still a good place to eat so don’t be discouraged it was just a unfortunate situation
First of all we are usually really good tippers. Whatever is on our hearts. I did not feel guilty for leaving $3 because our order was $17 and I paid with a $20. Smiles and thank yous go a long ways. We saw or heard none. I'll just leave it at that. We wished we had the male waiter. He greeted us and was friendly Food wise-you are called Waffle House. I have never been to one and was looking forward to deliciousness. The waffle was flat and overcooked. My scrambled eggs were under done his over medium eggs were well over that. Food was lukewarm and sausage came 5 minutes later and over done but hot.I will try another Waffle House because I love waffles but I'm grateful I'm passing through.
Ordered SOFT bacon. Got it super crispy. Sent back...and got it crispy again. Why is SOFT bacon so hard to do? For some very odd reason she only filled our soft drinks HALF full.....both times. Server wasn't attentive at all. She was busy hanging out at far end of restaurant chatting with the only other customer she had and the cook. We had to wave our arms in the air to get her attention 3 different times. We can't be 100% certain, but we saw what looked like a whiskey bottle wrapped in brown paper bag sitting behind counter. This was our second bad experience here. We won't go back.
Great food. Service could have been a little better but we enjoyed our meal.
Any other time when you guys are open you stating your phone you're a phone call when I made it that you're the only doing takeoit's the only doing takeout what States on your phone that you are doing dining and it is a storm and I stopped to get some food on the highway because of that phone call I show up and I'm told only take out and there's a guy sitting in the lobby eating
the lady on the phone was super rude. tried to make a to go order and she said “waffle house” in a super rude tone. and i very politely said “hi i’d like to make a to go order” she said “can u call me back in 5-10 minutes”. i said “no i’m sorry my mom will be almost home and she won’t wait for the food. i’m sorry!” and she said “i’m doing something. i’m cashing someone out. i’m busy okay? you can call me back” and i said “well what i’m saying is my mom is on her way home from reidland.” and she said “okay? sorry?” and i just said “yeah” and hung up. she was so rude the entire time i talked to her. all i wanted was to make a to go order and when i politely declined her offer to call her back, she got snappy with me for no reason. this waffle house is filled with rude staff who look messed up all the time. i will definitely go to the calvert city one next time. big mistake.
First and last time I’ll go to this location my wife called in a order the lady who took the order was very rude I went to go pick up the food I’m pretty sure the same lady said it’s pickup only in a rude tone if I was getting food just for me I would have left
