My husband was on his lunch break and ordered just a classic hot dog combo and got a hot dog that was cold with black char all over it shoved between a top to a hamburger bun with an order of cold tater tots. which all he had to throw away and not habe any lunch all day all while working in the heat. So I call sonic locally and corporate and they tell me I can't get a refund because I didn't have my receipt. Really? Bad customer service and food. Not recommended.
We have given this place so many chances.Unable to provide any kind of service or food.Final straw was this afternoon, simple order for a shake, a strawberry sundae, one drink and one hamburger. 22 minutes after we place the order they come out to tell us they are out of strawberries. That was the last we heard of them. We had already paid with a credit card and never received anything, we'll have to dispute the credit card charge.
The Sonic app wouldn't work, so no half price burgers. There was very little cheese in the poppers,. Very space veggies on the burger. Party was hard around the edges and dry. Was my food old and reheated I wonder?
absolutely terrible!! I order a plain hamburger, just one! I wait and I wait I push the button and nothing, I had to leave to go get my vehicle next door, they put new tires on before you guys can make a plain hamburger.. I will not be back and this isn’t the 1st time they have forgotten me. How this place has. 3.7 stars is beyond me, I give a 10/10 for the worst restaurant in lone oak!
HIRE MORE HELP! The amount of time I had to wait for some onion rings and a drink was RIDICULOUS. JUST for them to come tell me they don’t have onion rings.
If I had the authority I'd shut this place down! I ordered a cheeseburger with bacon, onion rings, wacky pack kids meal, and honey mustard for chicken poppers. They said they had no bacon no onion rings nor did they have honey mustard. Said ok swapped for ranch and tator tots. Then when receiving my order I had no cheeseburger at all. Pushed the call button explain about that ,girl comes out asks what was it supposed to be. When she comes back with burger she charges me again and the burger was thrown together but guess what. There was bacon on it. Double charged. My kid didn't get a toy, lied about what they did or didn't have. People if you don't want the hassle of your job then quit.
The one star is me being friendly . This location seems to be bothered that they are here to make money. They seemed to be more pleased with hanging out in the parking lot than their customer service . They have very poor customer service skills and rush you throughout your ordering after an item is order the response is “ is that everything “. ordered a combo couldn’t even get to my drink choice without being interrupted with “ is that everything “. Asked out of curiosity were there any “vegan choices or no meat in certain items “ and they laughed while the intercom was still on . Not pleased with the visit at all . A sample of my order got the advertised “ double stuff Oreo shake “ it was vanilla iced cream with Oreos thrown on top?
Good food but the service leaves something (a lot) to be desired, and the prices are sky high above the competition.
I just moved to Lone Oak and 2 different times this week ordered from this Sonic. It was horrible! The Coney Dog looks like they put the beans beans and cheese on it and then scrapped it off. They messed up most of the order that day also. The second time we just got a sundae and a m&m blast. The blast was ice-cream at the bottom with a sprinkle of M&Ms on top and not mixed. The sundae wasn't made correctly at all. Go to a different Sonic if you are craving Sonic.
Very unhappy with my visit to Sonic in Lone Oak this evening. The lady taking my order was acting like she was in such a rush she couldn’t listen to me place my entire order. Then when my kids’ food came out, she was practically throwing my food in my window at me. I try to give the benefit of the doubt, so I even tipped this lady. Then I looked at my order and my son’s cherry slush looked white. When I asked her about it she said I had to mix it up myself. I thought that was part of their job? Then when I gave my son his double cheeseburger at home, there’s only one patty on it. I checked my receipt and I was charged for the double of course. Frustrating. Just slow down! They weren’t even that busy. Even if you’re a carhop at a fast food restaurant, do that job to the best of your ability and don’t act like your customers are inconveniencing you.
