I went there with my Family and ordered their Kung Pao Chicken, Checken Egg Foo Yung and General Tsao's Chicken. The KPC has nice crisp and crunchy vegetables, and excellent flavor, though it was more of a savory flavor sauce, rather than a slightly vinegary flavor like I am used to, but still amazing. The Egg Foo Yung was crispy on the outside, firm on the inside and the gravy was rich, flavorful and by far the best I have ever had. The GTC was crispy on the outside, but quite dry on the inside. It was as if it had been fried a bit too long, but yet it was not burned (this is the only reason I didn't give them a 5/5 star rating - to be fair, if I could, I would still give them a 4.5/5 star rating). It still had amazing flavor, due to the sauce, and the broccoli was nice, crisp and crunchy. They also cooked it in mild spice for my family, per my request, and then let me add extra spice on the side. It was perfect, except for the dry chicken on the KPC. Decide they named themselves after the number of stars they earned. Guy at the hotel front desk recommended it. Ordered online and drive there. Seemed busy so excited. No flavor at all. The pot stickers were all thick dough And tasteless filling. The shrimp in lobster sauce was like egg drop soup - only saving grace was the shrimp was huge and cooked perfectly. The shocked cashew had very little chicken and was mostly carrots. Ghastly.
Reminds me of my favorite place in clarksville Great Wall. Was minus a star because I wanted chopsticks put it on my ticket and in my comments section for uber dasher and recieved a fork. Was not impressed with egg rolls chongs is better they make their egg rolls from scratch plus im fond of ms. Ruby at chongs haha. Their pork fried rice is my favorite here and sweet sour chicken ☺️
I got the shrimp in lobster sauce ?? the shrimp was amazing but the size of them mushrooms threw me off definitely was a false advertisement from the picture to the actual food was not what I expected overall the food is good just wanted to try this item & didn't enjoy it
Delivered to wrong room of hotel, figured that out and got it back to our room, cold by now. Then found mushrooms in our chicken with garlic sauce, which the ticket clearly showed to leave out. Glad I saw them before my boy, who is allergic to mushrooms, took a bite.
I'm not sure why people think of chong's as the go to and best Chinese maybe it's the decor. No 1 hands down is the best Chinese in the area. Good is fresh and hot. Staff is always the same, they're very friendly, and always accommodating. Food is awesome; great portion size, and has an authentic flavor so their own. Give it a try and enjoy!
The food is always great and they don't make you pay 10 cents for each pack of sauce they give you. Great people. Always Number 1 with me!
Great restaurant little high and privacy on their food I would not suggest a person to go there and get a big meal for their cells because it's very pricey their egg rolls need help and they need to make their their crab Louganis crispier and lower their prices to where two people could eat for the price of 20 bucks not one person eating a bill that caused them damn near thirty bucks yeah that's a little high that's my personal opinion they was decent I would eat there again
The one star is simply for the food. It’s actually good. But the service was the worst I’ve ever had. The lady (and that’s being nice) yelled at my little cousin and made her cry simply because she couldn’t remember how many items were on the order. (She went in because I was on a phone call). She made her cry so much I went inside and said something and she proceeded to also yell at me and tell me how she should have known and she can’t give her the food if she doesn’t. Even though my cousin knew the name and phone number on the bill. That is not how you run a business and I’ve told all my family and friends to take their business elsewhere.
The food was delicious and fresh, and the staff were very welcoming and friendly! The restaurant is very clean, and you can tell the employees care about their customers! We will def be going back!
