I visited this location several times and always Various hours due to staffing issues. There was a young lady working there making snide remarks to a customer who had ordered food 40 minutes prior and was still waiting and they had lost her order. The young lady continuing making remarks from the far side of the counter in front of all the customers, as one sweet young lady was trying to help everyone and stayed upbeat and apologetic. Maybe dive into your p&l and I'm sure you will see a direct correlation between customer service and a decline in sales. This in all will cause your attainment to plummet as you continue to allow people like that young lady to work for you that apparently doesn't want to and in return most likely costs you great customer service oriented team members like the other two ladies working this evening. As a store manager myself I apologized to everyone in uour location on behalf of the girls behavior and would never allow any of my team members to conduct themselves in that manner. At the bare minimum I would coach this young lady in private and explain the importance of customer interaction and customer service
This McAlister's location is always awesome. Their baked potatos , "spuds" they call them are always a hit with our family. The spudmax is a giant potato baked perfectly and then loaded with chicken, ham, bacon, chives, cheese, black olives, sour cream and butter.(Our family favorite). They have kids eat for 99 cents on Tuesday and Saturday. Their tea and lemonade is great. If your not into potatoes, they have a soup and sandwich menu that is sure to satisfy.This location,( like anywhere else), has had issues maintaining staff, but the management is very good at scheduling their open hours and staff rotation. We rarely wait long for quality menu items.Great Job McAlister's on Hinkleville Rd.
I am currently sitting in McAlisters, while writing this review. It is March 22nd 2022 1:40 pm. First let me start off by saying the food was very delicious I had the jalapeño crunch Turkey sandwich and my husband had a southwest salad.Now what I did not like or respect was the fact that the two employees taking the orders, were obviously high off something and tweaking really hard. The guy could not stop dazing into space and saying weird things. And the older lady mouth was twitching and she couldn’t stop moving around being jittery, she served us our food and her mouth was moving side to side with bug shot eyes. Any human being in their right mind could tell these two were high off drugs. They made me feel very uncomfortable and would not want to dine in again. Besides the two employees the food was good and the restaurant was nice and clean
Friendly welcome upon comming in and placing our order. Food was prepared correctly and had a good taste. The sweet tea was great. Decent prices. Get discounts and specials with the rewards and app.
Ordered 1/2 and 1/2 for $9.99 with a drink (Strawberry Lemonade)and total of ticket was $18.65. I can understand the drink $3.99 but there was an additional charge of $0.75 for a shot of strawberry that I did not ask for. Also got salad and soup had to pay $0.75 for extra salad dressing and the Restaurant cashier told us that they were out of chicken for the salad and I said can you just put any protein on the salad . The cashier charged me $1.35 for replacing turkey for chicken.****update****I think any restaurant manager that takes the time to respond back to all the restaurants surveys/comments shows that they really care about their customers! I ordered the New Yorker, it wasn't as tasteful, no mustard or other condiments. It was bland. While waiting to get my order I noticed two other customers throwing half their sandwhiches away? That should have been a red flag! No potato salad and they ran out of the signature drink cups. I don't think people were to happy with today's lunch.
Found this deli on our search for an early dinner before checking into our hotel. Are we glad we stopped. The sandwich & soup options were delightful & very tasty
Husband ordered the New Yorker. Supposed to come with pastrami and corned beef but he got roast beef. Took it up and the rude lady ignored me and looked at someone else and said "help her" I told her the aforementioned and she went back over to the rude person and she said "what she want". Again I said the same thing and she says that is pastrami on the bottom which it wasn't. $22 for two sandwiches, you should get what you ordered with decent customer service. Won't go back.
First time ever in a McAlister's (Dec 2021).Had no idea the Spuds (baked potatoes) were SO big. Don't plan on eating anything in addition to a whole one.Good food.Cleanliness could be better. Otherwise 5 stars.
Clean restaurant. Not a long wait. And the employees are amazing. We just stopped in on our way back home to KC. The lady that helped us was not only super friendly but she even took a second to tell us a way to go to avoid terrible traffic. Can't express how grateful I am for that! Our food was fresh and just how we ordered it. Great location. We will be back through again for sure ?
