We were there with a Paducah native. While it a little muggy, we still sat outside on the patio. That brought up one of the few negatives -- the bar is also outside and smoking is allowed there and the smoke was heavy. We eventually asked to me moved to the table the furthest away from the bar area. But, the food was very well done (my Aurora pizza was outstanding). Our waitperson was very, very good -- friendly and helpful.

There is only one thing better then Maxs food...Max's food delivered to your table by the great staff!! Our waiter, was Jason tonight...fantastic. several tables, including an 8 top. Yet, we never felt left alone or less then. This waiter is GREAT. Now back to the food all of it is highly recommended...but the Salmon is the most magnificent we have ever had...and we have had a lot of Salmon!! If you are there you must have the pecan brie...I dream about it. Finally, the creme brulee is like no other. Thank goodness i only come to visit...i would be huge...but MAX'S is always my first love.

We are regulars now at Max's, and it is the best restaurant in Paducah. Their salmon with the wasabi blanc sauce is amazing. All of the food is fantastic, and they have wonderful specials. During the warmer months they have a great lunch on their beautiful patio. The staff is fantastic. This is a family owned restaurant, and the whole staff feels like a big family. We have lived in California and Nevada, and traveled frequently, and Max's is one of our favorite restaurants ever. You won't be disappointed at Max's!

Fantastic experience! Everything from the drinks to the dessert was perfect. The steak Delmonico was by far the best steak ever! The entire staff never slowed and worked together like a team, it was great to see that. Our waitress Jess was awesome and even recommended we visit Cafe de Fae for breakfast the next day and it was also amazing! Highly recommend!

Adult restaurant, ONLY. Kitchen is slow, don't be in a hurry. It's a small space for maybe three "cooks". Food is average, nothing special. French decor with an Italian menu. Small bathrooms that are not super clean. Dusty light fixtures and air ducts in main dining area. Outdoor dining has terrible chairs with no cushions. Canopy needs either a deep cleaning or replacing. Fairly small wine list for a European style establishment. Overall 5 out of 10, I recommend for my 60+ y/o parents.

Absolutely top notch experience every time we go! My wife and I got engaged at Max's. Great service, great food!

We have enjoyed Max’s for many years. Always a wonderful experience. Great food. Attentive staff.

Cannot say enough great things about Max’s. Amazing food and wonderful service.

My friend, a veteran with a service dog, was denied seating for his reservation on 2/18 because of his service dog. Manager demanded a card proving it was a service dog; there is no such thing. In addition, she treated this veteran & his wife rudely. If you're going to be in business, know the applicable laws. Doesn't matter how good your food is if your customer service is lacking.

Refused service to a Disabled Veteran with a clearly marked certified PTSD Service Dog. Manager on duty was the person responsible. What type of establishment is being ran here? One that is breaking the Americans with Disabilities Act - that's for sure.
