My wife and I found ourselves in the unique position of being able to have a date night after our son decided to spend the night with a friend. So, on a whim, we called Grill 211, and they were able to get us right in. When we arrived, we were seated immediately at the bar, and the bartender, Warner, took our drink orders within sixty second. Five minutes later, with cocktails in hand (which were delicious, by the way), Warner took our food order. We started off with the firecracker shrimp as an appetizer - so good, and not too spicy either. We then moved on to the wedge salad with bleu cheese crumbles and bleu cheese dressing - which was some of the best bleu cheese dressing I’ve ever had. So fresh too. And, for our entree, we had the surf and turf. One word: amazing! The filet was perfect in every way - delicious, tender, and cooked to perfection. As Linda Richman would say, “Like butta!” And, those lobster tails were beyond remarkable. In short, we had the perfect evening at Grill 211! I’m ready for a return trip…who’s in?!!!
I wanted to surprise my wife with a night out.Simple review. If you want a night out, as a couple, this place is wonderful. Our server was pleasant and our food came out relatively quickly. The food was delicious. Overall, we will go back again. Maybe not twice a week as the prices are pretty steep, but for a nice date night it will be at the top of our list.
Fantastic atmosphere, cool interior and our meals were excellent - the service was top notch. One of the owners attended to our table and she was very welcoming and attentive. Simply an excellent overall experience. Loved the vibe and the food!
Food was good, but the service was AWEFUL. Most of the time different wait staff brought our food and drinks. We waited for ever on everything. Asje for bread never got it. Asked for a second drink, after 10 minutes cancelled it. Very very poor service won't be going back
After a long day of traveling and eating junk food, it was great to sit down and eat some quality food. The pork belly had amazing flavor and the Ahi tuna was prepared perfectly. I highly recommend visiting Grill 211. Every week I am in a different city and I can say they are serving quality food and are providing great service. Next time I'm in town I am going to try out their ribeye.

Tried to make a reservation and was informed it's a first come type of deal which is fine, I knew the "RISKS" but, we still chose to go. We happily sat at the bar for immediate seating and waited.... and waited, 40 minutes and not even an acknowledgment we were there. Was the place busy?? somewhat in my opinion however, not 40 minutes busy and only then did we get some kind of service because we went and grabbed someone. Every in the restaurant were in the same situation. We managed two very poorly made drinks and an appetizer and we left and went for dinner elsewhere..
This was a nice experience. Very nice presentation and atmosphere. The pork chop was excellent (a larger portion than the rest). The chicken was a little dry and over cooked. The portions were very small. At our table of five, four of us were all left hungry after finishing our meals. To give you an example of prices, while we were eating our meal, three groups came in and left after viewing the menu prices. One group was all seated and left after viewing the menu. The food is pretty over priced for what you get. On average, I would say you will be spending about $30 to $40 per person for only your meal. If the prices were a little lower, I think I would have given them 5 stars. It's just not worth the prices they are charging.
