It took an 45 minutes for food and no utensils! We had to ask server twice for utensils and they weren’t busy!
Probably my fault for ordering to go at 8:45 when they close at 9. But this is the 2nd time, 2 different Cracker Barrels. I ordered 3 biscuits with gravy, bacon and fried apples.I get back to my hotel and I only got 2 biscuits that were cold and chewy(not their regular great biscuits), the gravy and apples were barely warm.This is one of my favorite places to eat but I won't be ordering again so close to closing time. ?
The waitress was great. The food was loaded with black pepper. In everything from the breading on the chicken to the brown gravy on the mashed potatoes.Then to top it off they will not even give you a toothpick to pick the chicken out of your teeth. They want you to buy a 10 pack of toothpicks for $1.39.
roast beef, delicious, loved the baby carrots. nice people, and good food. Great atmosphere. like being at Grandma's.

This is less than half a glass of mimosa. For 6.99...wow... Eggs were cold. Service was so bad! Just an awful experience. Hands down the worst location I've ever been to.
My catfish was delicious. The fried okra was chewy and tough. My son had the chicken and dumplings which were very thick and doughy. An off day I hoping because the food is usually much better. Itvwas not crowded as we were there about 3pm. Our waitress was excellent. Every staff member we encountered was very nice snd helpful. We will come back and try them again. They've always been delicious in the past.

All Cracker Barrels are pretty much the same, with the exception of the cook. Therefore, one may have excellent biscuits, another, not so good. In this case, the biscuits were too well done and should never have been served. The rest of the meal was fine. Courtney, the waitress was very good. We didn't request that they be replaced.
Very busy on a Saturday Night we had to wait 45 min. Causing my daughter to want everything in the store!! I suppose that's the point. LOL*not to the fault of Cracker Barrel but... they sat a young man down at the table next to us with his date. He had Cologne so thick that we could not enjoy our meal that was about to be set down. My husband got a severe headache and my eyes itched. I had to take my food Togo because I could not eat it with the smell. We would have asked to moved but the place was packed so all we could do is hurry and leave.
