If you're in Paducah Kentucky, and you're hungry, and who wouldn't be, take the time to go to Backwoods BBQ. A fantastic little BBQ joint, with exceptionally good food. The sweet Fire Sauce is just hot enough to wake you up, but doesn't burn your tongue out of your mouth. The flavor is fantastic. If they have it, the smoked chicken, chicken salad is amazing. Everything I have had there so far has been incredibly good to just downright delicious. Haven't been disappointed. If you happen to read this and stop in, tell them the ice cream man sent you. Enjoy your meal. I know you're going to.

I gave a 2 star only because the people who work there was super friendly. The nachos we ordered was just ok. Definitely not enough cheese so they were dry! Seasoning was good and a little spicy. My husband ordered half of rack of ribs and they were dried out and hard. Our bill was 70 dollars and Definitely wasn't worth the money. We was passing through Paducah and wanted bar b que and the husband wanted to give our business to a smaller restaurant instead of bandanas bar b que. Unfortunately we was very disappointed.

We got a pork tenderloin sandwich, it iwas on two pieces of white bread toasted, with no slaw, the neat was tough, and did not taste as it should, it was not fitting to consume. We got tea, which was very weak, and disgusting, I have had much better tea at other restaurants. So for two pork tenderloin on toasted white bread, and two glasses of weak tea for $ 20.00, it was pathetic, we will never go to Backwoods BBQ again, and will let other people know that it is overpriced and rated. There are much better BBQ at other reasturants. I can BBQ/smoke Pork and any other meat and it will taste 100% better than what we got at Backwoods BBQ.

Delicious!!!! And super friendly staff and customers.

Before the pandemic this was the best barbecue ever, ate there yesterday and the meat is dry, it's a shame that this place has even gone to the dogs.

I was the only person ordering, asked for a BBQ pork tenderloin sandwich. It took a very long time and the price for the sandwich, "tiny" little bag of chips and Pepsi was almost $12. The tenderloin was dry and had no taste whatsoever. It was the worst I've ever had. Will not be ordering that again!

We saw the road sign and decided to stop. What a pleasant delight. We had both chicken and pulled pork and both were excellent. The hash brown casserole was out of this world and the cole slaw was just the way we liked it, some sweet but not over powering. We enjoyed our meal here so much we planned on stopping on our return trip from Florida but sadly were unaware they were closed on Mondays. I could have cried, I wanted some so badly.

BBQ was grate and tender. No sauce needed. The potato salad is under cooked and crunchy. Cole slaw is not fresh. Service is awesome! Nice smiling faces. They check on you make sure you don't need anything. If they get the sides fixed would be 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ the place was clean also.

Completely disgusting is an understatement. Gave us 20% off but shouldn’t have had to pay. Food was cold, ribs looked frozen for months, no spice or taste to any of the pulled pork. Honestly some of the worse food I’ve ever been served and were from Chicago so we know good food.

I ordered a turkey 9 days previous to my pick up day of Christmas Eve. I arrived at my pick up time and had to wait a hour for my turkey. The entire pick up process was badly managed not just for me but every customer there. I will not be back as a customer at Backwood again.
