Went to this Shogun the service was great but they took out their own tip we don’t tip unless we have cash because they wait so long to take it out so anyways they took out a tip that we didn’t put on the receipt or agree to so I highly recommend not going there if you don’t wanna have extra token out of your card
Breakfast on a slow easy Sunday morning under the catalpa trees. Windows large and inviting us to take in the world. Watching a barge gently flow through the water. A cardinal lands close by, sings a few lines then let's the doves take the chorus. Kitchen staff sing along with Heart's How Do I Get You Alone. Service is kind and humorous, "sit anywhere. Well maybe not where some else is sitting, that may be awkward." Regulars chatting, softly no one is invasive. Wait staff are attentive, kindly remembering the locals favorites. A mockingbird stops by to gather stories. A patron leaves and the staff call, "have a great day."The food was cooked perfectly, over medium eggs, crisp country bacon, potatoes and onions. The toast was still warm and had the perfect amount of fat, probably margarine. Coffee was the perfect temperature and not overly bitter. I could drink it black! I hope to come back.Lore:Catalpa has several medicinal uses. It can be made into a tea that is an antidote for snake bites and has also used for a laxative. Catalpa is also known to be a mild narcotic, which is used in curing the “whooping cough.
Food was amazing!! Had the hibachi filet, shrimp, and scallops. All including rice and vegetables were superb! Never had better scallops. Just melted in your mouth. Would highly recommend. Was a good price for all you get. Will absolutely be back!!Only complaint would be against the TERRIBLE server Arthur. Other than him a wonderful experience!
The food was decent little burnt on noddle and chicken asked for extra rice no vegetables charged me $4 for it. Never even informed me that there would be a charge for substitute should have been mentioned had my glass refilled once. Cause couldn’t ever find my waitress to ask. She wasn’t very friendly. Save money go to Mikato better food better staff and cheaper
Our chef at the table was very friendly to our family; the food was great! The Hibachi tables are smaller and closer together than I would prefer, as a full table means a tight squeeze with little elbow room to eat your meal, and guests at neighboring tables were very loud. However, I am sure we will probably visit this location again since the staff and food are excellent ??♀️?
last night was my son's birthday so we took him to his favorite place. unfortunately our chef read the receipt wrong and wasn't making the food like ordered. to make up for the wrong made chicken they brought out already cooked chicken and re-cooked it. it smelled off and tasted even worse. me and my son have been up tossing all night not feeling good. thanks to shogun we got food poisoning from their neglect.
It's was amazing! like always lot of fun family memories are always made there?. I recommend it for everyone. The staff is great and the FOODS EVEN BETTER!!

The yokosiboto noodles were so good. The employee who handed my food at the drive thru wasn't friendly but the rating deserves a 4 star at the very least for the food alone.
