A very nice place with great atmosphere...My Chile Verde was not very tasty and the meat was tough. As a California resident for over 50 years I am probably spoiled.Service was decent although our waiter seemed To be in a huge hurry even though the restaurant was not particularly busy..Perhaps some more customer service training would help.. ?I might try it again when in the area.. but I was not impressed initially...
We had a wonderful experience. The food was well cooked and delicious. The services was excellent. We have definitely found our favorite place to eat when visiting Owensboro.
The food was great. The portions were hearty without sacrificing flavor. The pico and guacamole were fresh and there was enough for the table to share. The aroz con pollo touched my soul- I did order extra cheese sauce to pour over the top that I think made all the difference. The guacamole was made fresh tableside and you can decide what goes into it as it's made.The servers were very polite and helpful. I will definitely be back.
Two recent visits. Once very busy and the second time was early afternoon and low crowd. Both times the service was excellent and quick. The food also both times was excellent. During a busy time the food sometimes lacks good preparation at other restaurants. Not a problem at Papa Grande.
Half my food was raw half burnt and if that's not bad enough it was also missing ingredients. No one speaks English. No one in charge. No manager. My server just left. The place was dirty including my silverware. This used to be one of the best places in town, not anymore, just go somewhere else, hell you'd be better off going to freaking taco bell
Visited from Northeast Indiana for an archery competition. Food was delicious and flavorful, especially the salsa! Good value for the money! We HIGHLY recommend the cheese steak burrito and the queso blanco. Food came out quickly in spite of our large party. Will definitely be back next time we are in town!
Aw, fast service, seated as soon as we walked in the door on a Friday night amd great food!Our server was prompt and friendly! He kept our cups fullI ate the Azada Street Tacos!
Had chicken street tacos. Flavor was good. Yellow rice had a good flavor also. It came with a very hot sauce for dipping, if you like spicy ?. This has been my experience, judge for yourself.

Was there mid afternoon and there was only 1 other table seated. Although it was slow the food took what seemed like was way too long to cook. When I got it it was piping hot.
