I have been in this restaurant several times, and it is always shady. Asked about the beer specials. There was a 16 oz special on the sign when we walked in. Supposedly our server didn’t know about the specials or beer pricing. but stated it wasn’t much difference in price. Whatever that means???? Asked for draft michelob ultra. Thought that is what we were paying for and they don’t even have it on draft. Could have had the 16oz for the “special” price, but charged us for large and didn’t bother telling us they didn’t have what we asked for on draft. That had us paying over twice as much. Also didn’t bring out a customer copy when they brought out the credit card slip. That iswhere I saw the outrageous prices for the large beer and that we got bud light rather than the draft michelob ultra we ordered. I have never been in a place that didn’t bother providing a customer copy of the credit card receipt. They don’t want you to have a copy of your receipt to look back on. I have said this every time I have gone there that I won’t be back. I mean it, I won’t be back! I have ended up there without wanting to eat there several times with different people and every time I get upset about how the experience goes and whoever I’m with experiences how shady it is and they lose that future business. They have had plenty of chances with me! I don’t know at this rate how long they will be able to stay in business. You don’t do people like this. It is Shady!!!!!!
What started off as a great place has turned into a not so great place. When you are eating in to-go drinks are no longer available, a small queso is now half a cup (the size of the kind you would rinse your mouth out with), the fajitas are barely the size of the side items used to be. I don't know if it has fallen on hard times, but the quality has definitely gone down hill the last few visits.
First time here…great foods, great staff and great prices!!
Excellent Service! Steak & Chicken Fajita's are Amazingly Delicious! Love Ernesto's❤
Love this place!!! Great food and great prices
The best Mexican restaurant I have ever eaten! The food is amazing and the staff all works together to make sure the customers have what they need. We will never go anywhere else! 10/10 Recommend
My first visit left a bad taste in my mouth! The food was ok, nothing spectacular, but the service was terrible. The woman playing server was very rude and rolled her eyes at everything. As we were leaving I asked her if we pay her and she sternly pointed to the cash register as she began picking up our dishes from the table. We waited at the cash register to pay for almost 6 minutes while the mean woman walked by at least 4 times. I asked her if she can do register and she said yes. I stated that I was going to be late getting back to work and she shrugged her shoulders and kept walking. Eventually other customers in line got the owner himself to come to the register and even the owner had an attitude. The attitudes, unfortunately, are bigger than the tacos. The food was the same basic food you get at any other Mexican restaurant in town - without the attitude.
We went during lunch on a weekday. The staff was very friendly and got to us right away. I had a burrito with shredded chicken. The smoked flavor was unique from other local Mexican restaurants. It was quite surprising and delicious! My kids, who can be very picky eaters, enjoyed their meals, as well. Ernesto made the visit more personable by visiting with us like we were old friends instead of random customers.
First off, we were never greeted and were stared at when we walked in. Then it took forever for someone to take our order. I ordered a burrito supreme and the chicken tasted like something from a barbecue restaurant. My friend found a very long hair in her food. While we were eating, at least four people came and tried to take our plates away from us when there was still food on them and we were still eating. Also was overcharged for my burrito. The menu said $6.99 and was charged $8.99 and the waiter “was going to tell me” but didn’t. Very terrible experience would not recommend eating here. Not Mexican food at all. Go to Papa Grandes.
Pretty decent option as far as Mexican food is concerned! Their salsa was the best I've had anywhere locally, but the entrée I had was fairly comparable to most other Mexican restaurants. Prices and portions were extra nice.
