On July 24, 2022 we were in the drive thru line a little after 7:35pm. When we got up to give our order, it just turned 8pm. They did not take our order nor did anyone tell us they closed at 8pm. After waiting 12 minutes, we drove up to the window and watched them hide from us instead of telling us they were closed and not taking our order. There was another car behind us also that was there before 8pm.
This is the best Dairy Queen in Owensboro. We drive out of our way to eat at this one because the food is always hotter and the fries crispier! It always seems to be staffed by adults instead of teens, so maybe that makes the difference. Plus, I like the home-y, retro atmosphere.
Worst place in owensboro so far.. Management is rude to employees and customers.
Poor service that took too long my fries were cold and they gave me the wrong order at first
Always great food, good service and a clean restaurant. We just love it.
Lady at drive thru was making ice cream and licking her fingers in the process. When we confronted her about it she said she was “making an employee’s ice cream” and used hand sanitizer, we watched her the whole time and she never went near the sanitizer. After we received our ice cream there was a hair in one of them.
The food was cold and tasted like it had sat under the warmer too long at some time the employees were friendly and helpful
You have a wonderful employee working front counter! I don’t know her name , she has long black hair and a black/white check blouse on today (4-18-22) Kudos to her bright smile and sweet disposition even at busy lunchtime! We should all be like her!
