Great wholesome food and pleasant service. We eat lunch there about once a week. They go over vegan options and don't think anything of it. Nice atmosphere. Very busy during lunch. A bit on the pricey side of all the places on our lunch rotation.
Ate here for the first time today and very impressed with Press on Monmouth. My berry waffle was cooked to Perfection, very light and airy. It had blackberries, strawberries, and blueberries on it and they were ripened to perfection as well. My father had the Press burger and fries and it looked awesome. I had a hot white mocha coffee someone else had recommended which was delicious. I ordered a take-home order of crispy brussel sprouts and they were quite scrumptious. Bathroom was big and well-maintained. All staff was very friendly and efficient. Will definitely be returning. A little gem in Newport.
In a quiet part of town, has outdoor seating. Good food and quick service. Recommended choice while in KY
I really liked it here! Will be returning for sure:). Came here for the first time for my birthday breakfast and was a great way to start the day. The atmosphere is so lovely, see pictures for food details and such. Food was very tasty, I had the bowl and cortado, my mom got the latte and sandwich. Maybe a little pricey but it’s pretty sophisticated, very good and made me feel light but full, not heavy at all. My mom said the restrooms are very big, clean, and smell good haha. Overall a fun experience!
Press may have the best breakfast in the area! We happened upon this hip neighborhood shoppe and returned for breakfast two days in a row! The dark roast coffee if just that and served piping hot. The breakfast menu is broad with something for everyone. My husband is a big goetta fan and found theirs crispy and properly seasoned. I enjoyed the vegetarian/vegan options and appreciated a plant-based sausage substitute-even with gravy if desired. The star for me, however, is their avocado toast with flavors elevated by the addition of roasted corn, tomatoes, peas, micro-cilantro and honey. Only regret, we can’t return tomorrow morning for the plant-based chicken and waffles.
We were visiting from out of town. We stood in line for 45 minutes- it was worth the wait. Gracie is like a breath of fresh air. Thank you for Newport hospitality! Delightful seating outside in the am. Wonderful menu! Coffee is great! The front counter employees seem very stressed as all people are now- at least they are here. Smile!
Best breakfast place in the tri state... This place seems to be socially conscious though and it confuses me why you would use plastic straws, plastic (♻️ 6) cups, and the plastic containers for ketchup and syrup? Agave straws/plastic is/are better alternatives. Lose the excessive plastic waste please! These weren't even better alternatives when covid was around but now it's all but over. Thanks for considering. Don't change the food though!
What an interesting cafe/lunch spot! It was confusing as a first time visitor (I bet no one reads the signs) but it acts like a fast casual place where you order and then you get seated. The food was amazing. Both the ham and salmon breakfast sandwiches were very good (though I would ask for the wasabi sauce from the salmon sandwich on the side) and I loved my honey lavender tea latte. The cheesy hash brown waffles were surprising but delicious. Can’t wait to visit this place again!!
Excellent food albeit a little pricy and I wish they were open for dinner. Brunch is great though. Brussels sprouts are super yummy
I actually live right in the same building as Press! We love having a little shop moments away. Every time I tell someone where I live, they start ranting and raving about Press. They have great sandwiches, and coffee.Plus you can pick up beer, wine or even champagne if you're in a pinch or just want to celebrate!
