I have been going here for years. Great little family owned restaurant that always welcomes you. Food is always good.
My husband and I love to slip away to Pepper Pod for breakfast, lunch or dinner whenever we get the chance to be away just us, although this place is family friendly and I've taken my oldest to eat there, the atmosphere and old fashioned diner theme makes it feel like the perfect place for a cozy pop up date night (or morning). The foods awesome, the service is great and the prive isn't pocket breaking, in fact thier specials are amazing!

I grew up coming to Pepper Pod with my grand parents as a treat. My spouse and I continued the tradition, as well as, eating here regularly for a meal out. The food is always yummy and the company of the staff and regulars always feels like home. Recently we held my spouse's celebration of life dinner at the Pepper Pod. The kindness and empathy provided by Brian, an owner, and all the team left a sad day a celebration. This is only part of the reason I will continue to recommend Pepper Pod to anyone asking about a place to have great food at reasonable prices.
Food is amazing but the only convenient way to access it in Cincy is Uber and its literally a failure 95%of the time. The restaurant cancels the order with no explanation or Uber drivers cancel the same. Wish they would access another delivery system. If you're going to offer Uber you should be able to complete orders or stop advertising at least for this delivery area
We always love trying small, “mom & pop” kind of places. We never expect gourmet food or perfection. This place was no different…except when we sat down to order breakfast, we did not know that we would be waiting nearly a half hour for eggs, toast, sausage and ham. On top of that, Jimmy Joe Bob (made up name) comes in, sits down at the booth next to us and proceeds to chain smoke. Well, as always, smoke follows the non-smoker, so we got to smell his stench while waiting and then when the food finally DID arrive, we got to endure more of his smoke. As far as the food, it’s not horrible. I would say middle of the road. Honestly, it was quite bland overall. So, if you’re in the mood for some smoked eggs, smoked hashbrowns, smoked country ham, smoked toast, and smoked biscuits and gravy, then by all means, stop into Pepper Pods Place for Puffin’ People.
Well I can't say how it was as bad as I want and wanted biscuits and gravy because I got there at 6:30 and went to call in my order and no answer. Voicemail said they open at 7 a.m. waited. Till 7:15 no one there , locked up. I've tried a couple of times this week but no biscuits and gravy for me. I'll change this when I get some and let y'all know. I'll keep trying is all I can do.
Food was absolutely amazing staff was super friendly and energetic!
Food was fine, service was friendly, we are from out of town and the cigarette smoker across the counter made it difficult to enjoy eating our breakfast.
