Went for brunch and it was awesome. I had the Real Quiet with fried eggs instead of a scramble. Hubby had the Dark Star with the sausage. Both were really delicious. We tried the mimosas, Bloody Mary and the watermelon mule. Hubby had the bourbon and bought a bottle to take home. We cannot wait to go back and try dinner!

Arrived at a slower time, staff was knowledgeable attentive and friendly. House liquor was delightfully really tasteful. 100% recommended coming from Canada. Food was excellent and great quality diamond in the rough.

Love this place! Absolutely the BEST TASTING slider I’ve ever eaten! My husband enjoyed a bourbon and said it was very smooth.. We will definitely go back!

Great food and drink. It has hands down the best bourbon that I have ever tasted.

Wow the shrimp and grits was dynamite. My friend both got sliders and they seemed quite pleased. Great service, the owner was friendly and very knowledgeable about the distilling process. I was so grateful for the opportunity to learn about what was going on for them.

All around, Great vibe.As of last Friday, I visited Pensive. There was Acoustic style music...And the fathering musician was good. Sending off the best classics of oldies rock...60s-70s...me likey! As a new customer, unsure if jams is a thing they do or just trying...but I vote “keep it going”. I only had 2 drinks, but the food being served looked so good my mouth was watering. If didn’t already ate (and watching my weight). I would’ve gotten something. I plan to go back and give it the full experience it deserves. This is exactly what Newport has been missing. Banquet style menu and service, full bar, with a downtown feel and enterprise. Go to Pensive.

First time visiting. Took the bourbon tour and tasting. It's small but nice. The bartender was exceptional. He asked off I ever had a tequila old fashion. Well, now I have and I will let him offer more interesting takes on cocktails.

Was walking by and some diners invited us in. Was the best decision of the night. Very nice seat by the open garage door. Ordered the sliders and onion rings and was also served a spicy orange juice cocktail. Service was prompt and the atmosphere was great. Played some country music on radio that night. Bathrooms were ok. Sliders and onion rings tasted great and were worth the extra.

Historical space with more reasons than not to take an adventure down Monmouth Street.- Newport Kentucky. That " naughty nectar" was distilled and bottled Bourbon on site. Somuch history within the building. .Delicious food . , great staff. Tours and tastes of Bourbon are available as well. Do yourself a favor and have a good time !

Terrific food. Ownership is made up of terrific individuals who truly care about the community. Highly recommend. Building is very cool. Coming back next time in Newport
