Just checked this place out for the first time, and it may very well be my favorite bourbon bar in the city. Very cool setup with both indoor and outdoor seating. Very welcoming crowd and the staff/ownership is INCREDIBLE. 12/10 would recommend!!
Absolutely unreal. If you’re in the Cincinnati area, this is a MUST. The staff are wonderful people who are incredibly welcoming and take great care of their patrons. Kim, Pete, and Ellen are awesome!! Have never seen a bourbon selection like this in North America. It was a pure adventure for our weekend, and we enjoyed it so much on Friday we came back Saturday! Don’t miss this place and be sure to get the charcuterie board to go with your favorite drink!
This place is a must visit if in the area. Highly recommend making reservations. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is super friendly and accommodating. The charcuterie board is a must have along with your choice of bourbon!
So much fun! We visited the Prohibition Bourbon Bar and had such a great time. The owners, Kim and Peter, made us feel at home right away. They have 6,312 bourbons, and Peter is a wealth of knowledge about bourbons and the state of Kentucky – not to mention wine. We told him what we liked and he recommended options we had never had before – all of which were perfect picks. If you enjoy bourbon, cocktails, or wine, this is a must-visit! They also have a bakery ... OMG we had a mini-cheese croissant, and it was up there with the best we have ever had ... Can't wait to try the coffee, if it's even close to as good as everything else, it will be amazing!
I took my husband and good friend there tonight to celebrate his birthday. Kim and Pete were terrific and we had some delicious pours that you do not normally find. Exactly what you would expect from a Kentucky bourbon bar….friendly, knowledgeable and just down right delicious. Great experience, we will be back in February.
Kim is the nicest coffeeshop owner I've ever come across! And the coffee was the best I've tried in at least 5 years. It's only open 2 nights a week, but perhaps that's fitting, given how special this unique coffeeshop/bourbon bar is! Extremely recommended!
Great atmosphere and selection of bourbon to choose from. The owners were very delightful and had time to talk to everyone there.
