This restaurant was my first introduction to Kentucky. Situated in a small building in a historic resembling area makes for taking a nice stroll to walk to on a breezy Autumn afternoon day. We were greeted and seated promptly by welcoming staff. What I noticed was even though it was a weekday and around noonish almost every table was laden with some type of alcoholic beverage. It made me feel comfortable enough to order a large michelada. Not the best but, refreshing and a lot of it. Our meals were plated appealing with enough to share. The flavors however, were different from what I’m used to. My only complaint is the queso dip was frustratingly watery. Wouldn’t even hold onto a chip just dripped right off. Not, a bad spot but, not a place I return to any time soon.
A must visit location for food lovers. I've been to this place quite a few times since i started going here. For the first timers I would recommend flag burrito or tacos , I think there are at least 10-12 different types of tacos that are all good. Can be little crowded sometimes. But worth the wait. Aroma , place and atmosphere makes this place special.
Great chips and salsa and queso! Authentic Mexican food served with flair
Decent service great food, we couldn't pass it up after walking by and the smell pulled us in. No dissatisfaction here best chips and Guac I've ever had
I wanted tacos.Found this taco sanctuary thanks to Google search.[The only products I've had here are these 2 tacos*]They're very good. The portions are the best value for any tacos I've had around. My only complaint is they're a little dry,But the flavor is on point.[The sauces are fire too. Pun Intended**Like they're pretty damn hot][Chicken & Goat]
This is authentic Mexican, and it is so good! My wife is Mexican and it's her favorite now, we just love it. If you like authentic and don't like Taco Bell, go here!
My favorite Mexican restaurant in Cincinnati, and I’ve tried many. Mazunte is my second favorite. Those two restaurants have very different styles of Mexican food. La Mexicana serves excellent “traditional” Mexican, and Mazunte serves more “modern” Mexican. They’re both great. La Mexicana is worth going out of your way for.
This place is great! We split the chori-queso and the flag burrito. Portions were huge and the food was perfect. The peach margarita was also super tasty. Definitely worth a trip!
Awesome place for Mexican food! Service is friendly and fast, food is generously portioned and absolutely delicious. The tacos were superb! (Got al pastor and milanesa.) Chips and salsa were tasty too. Definitely hope to be back soon!
Didn't know this place existed until yesterday, but I'm so glad I know now. Delicious.
