Nice and cozy atmosphere. Had a lot of fun. Drinks are great and affordable.
We had reserved a table for 8, which is the number of people a table seats. When we arrived, there were people at all the tables, so they had to move people to another table, which made us look like the bad guys. That happened to some other people who came after us as well, shuffling had to be done in order to seat everyone. You would think the reservation person would mark the tables as they were reserved, but obviously that didn't happen. The skit was very short, which took place during the salad and bread course. During dinner they passed out cards to a select few to be suspects in the skit. After dinner the players interviewed the suspects and we had to draw a conclusion with the facts presented. During dessert they deliberated on who correctly found the murderer. All that was fine, except the whole thing did not have much substance. The set (one piece of fabric over a pole) keep falling down and a table and chairs were it. The whole thing seemed simple and second rate. The saving grace was the food, it was very good and you could go back for seconds. Did I mention that there was a bar out front, and when they started playing during the interview process, it was super difficult to hear the clues, even with the doors closed. Overall, it was a hot mess! Will not be going back anytime soon, or ever.
We started our day with the Newport Gangster Tour so decided to end with the Maria and Tito’s Murder Mystery Dinner at Gangsters. While the dinner was very good it wasn’t fancy. The best part was meeting the six other “participant” guests at our table. We really had a great time getting to know each other while enjoying our dinner and solving the mystery. We failed; but laughed the entire time! After dinner we headed over to the lounge and enjoyed the dueling pianos. Very entertaining. The bartenders were also all pleasant and friendly. Thank you for an enjoyable evening!
Betsi is a rockstar! She'll make your event dope
Probably our favorite place to go when we want to get away from the kids.
Awesome venue. Had a blast on NYE. Piano players and drummer are very talented.
Great when open but closed sat
Poor service and staff. To be expected at a gimmick bar.
The Chicken nachos were amazing! The pizza was undercooked but the beer was ice cold and pianos were a rocking!
We took the guided tour that was all about casino and the fans tees in Newport. Joe made the tour very fun and entertaining! Even in the rain, it was fun! Very educational. Must like to walk and drink
