Had dinner with family and very much enjoyed it. If I have a "gripe" it would be that many of the meals do not come with rice and beans, but you could order them ala carte. The margaritas are a good size and were good tasting. I would recommend eating here.
Really good food. Best to call ahead if you're not wanting to wait. Very popular place to eat. Best refried beans I've ever had. Usually don't even bother eating them. All the food was delicious. Very good service too. Plenty of food and drink options.
Alrighty, this is the type of restaurant I think could get overlooked & thrown in the typical hustle of Mexican restaurants. Not us, our family jumps at trying a Mexican restaurant! Let me just say, this is a destination restaurant & was AMAZING!!! I tried the well known Fajita Tropicana, hubby got the Nachos Rodeo (I forgot to grab a picture of his & I’m sorry it was loaded with meat). Both were amazing! Also the margaritas were great, minus the Corona margaritas those can be skipped. Pics are of my AMAZING Fajitas Tropicana which I will ? come back for the next time we’re nearby (came from Kansas City). Seriously I’ll eat tortillas by themselves bc they’re tortillas duh. I didn’t even touch a tortilla with this fish. Not needed. I highly recommend!!!!!!!
Fantastic meal on the patio - Pollo Chipotle for him, Seafood Fajita Tropicana for me. The margaritas were, of course, delicious, service was great, and we got a beautiful sunset, to boot! We didn't even wait long for a table for a busy evening. Wonderful experience all around!
I have been coming somewhat frequently the past few of months. The servers/bartenders are always a pleasure to talk to. I really enjoy the tacos on Tuesdays, and then I tried this thing! The burrito Barzon was absolutely amazing! I plan on coming back for the nice people, great food, and cold drinks.
Bring on the river watching the sun go down and the barges going up and down the river was really really wonderful. The food was great. Would definitely recommend
The food was excellent, ordered the fajitas Tropicana and it was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor, and not to mention it's worth it to stop in for the amazing view of the river, but the service absolutely left something to be desired - we were never offered chips and salsa, they immediately came to the table and kept trying to take our order - we finally had to ask for them to be brought out. Long story short, great food and atmosphere, but service was lacking.
This place is amazing! I'm from Wisconsin, but I travel all over and if you are a resident that lives close or are going to be traveling through I HIGHLY recommended this restaurant.First off the location!Right on the Ohio river we a beautiful view of down town CincinnatiThe margaritas taste fresh and not heavyThe food is so reasonably priced and it's amazing! It's hard to find a combination like that.I highly recommend getting the enchiladas and subbing the sauce for their white queso sauce over them. Literally to die for!The beans also had great flavor no blandness at all.If I am ever passing through again I will definitely be stopping here again!
We had a group of 8. Service was quick, everyone's meal was correct. Server brought extra chips to the table when we were low, we didn't have to ask for it. I asked for a child's plate, and had no problem ordering what I wanted. My meal was perfect portion.
This was the best food I have ever had and I have ate at a lot of Mexico Restaurants the best ever
