I went to two Waffle Houses and this was the ond that offer a dine in, the service people worked hard to accommodate everyone and that was alright with me.
Had a great breakfast with Brittany as my server. She’s very friendly and nice to my son. All of the staff is super friendly. Everyone was working hard and happy.
The area where cooks are the floors was harzdeous all kinds of food and trash was on it. I got the ALL-AMERICANS breakfast and by the time I got the waffles and hasbrowns I done ate my other food. I had to cancel the waffle and hasbrowns because it was not served all at once. I haven't been in Waffle house in years to learn no steak on the menu anymore ?
Rude staff. No dine in at random times of the day. Cleanliness and food safety was mostly ignored from what I observed. Ended up leaving without being served and honestly did not want to experience that rabbit hole
I love waffle house but I can't tell u how many times I've called to place an order, get voice message saying they must be w customers but were open, only to drive there and find restaurants closed! If they don't answer then they are closed! Pay NO attention to the message on their phone!! This goes for ALL local waffle houses!
The staff was rude and didn’t care that we waited an hour and thirty minutes to even PLACE AN ORDER. We just got finished at a festival at forecastle and there were only 3 of us. The staff did not acknowledge us, there were people taken in front of us, and we didn’t receive our food from the time we were there 12:00 am - 1:32 am. We are absolutely livid. They had 4 people working in the kitchen and I work in fast food and understand how hard it can be to be understaffed… but they didn’t offer us any sort of discount, did not apologize, nor care that we were there for that long. Absolutely ridiculous service and we will NEVER go back. DO NOT GO TO THIS WAFFLE HOUSE !!!!
We came to this location a little after 9:00 on a Wednesday evening. As soon as we entered, the lady who was working told us there was a “situation” and she didn’t know how long it would be until she could wait on us. There were no other customers in the restaurant. There were 3 employees in the front. She said the 3rd shift employees hadn’t come in yet. She was very rude and basically just refused to serve us.
Just came with a group of friends to have a bite and we stood in front of the register for 15 minutes waiting for them to acknowledge us. Decided to leave.
Worst Waffle House I’ve ever been to. Unless you like burnt food, 42 pounds of butter in your grits to the point your grits are yellow and in a puddle of butter, the taste of nothing but grease, and poor service, if that’s the case then this would be your perfect Waffle House. Drive the extra 10 minutes to brooks road or anywhere else honestly. Not to mention it took them over 30-40 minutes for a simple to go order for a guy who was there way before we were and left as we were leaving and they weren’t even busy.
The food was amazing and they were quick to get us our food even though it was pretty busy
