If I could give less stars I would. We went in after work around 3 am there was a man with no shoes coming in and out. Our chicken was dry toast burnt and eggs over cooked. Have called and called to speak with a manager and no answer. Our waitress was not pleasant and looked like she was high on something .. terrible terrible place
Food portions are SUPER SMALL! I ordered breakfast and it looked more like a kids meal. Value for my money?! Please?!
Best waffle house I've been to. Waitress was really good and before she left she told us to have a good day and be careful out there. It's the little things that people remember. That was one of them.
This location was a refreshing rebound from my last Waffle House experience (Alabama). The service was a little slower than I expect but the food was great, the facility clean and tidy, and the service courteous. I will definitely dine again!
Waffle House. Iconic? Yes. Good? Every once in a while. I had a waffle and diced hash browns. Part of the hashbrown was hot and crispy, but sections of it were still cool. The waffle was good, especially slathered in that cheap but tasty syrup. We all enjoyed what we had, but I definitely could not eat this every day and I was on a sugar buzz until late in the afternoon. Service was OK. Quick to the table, and friendly, but not much of a memory. I will stop by another one of these a few years down the road, most likely with someone that has never been to one before, as was the case here. All in all, Waffle House is worth a visit, if for no other reason, than to have a waffle and learn the hashbrown ordering code.
It's nice to visit, again. The cook, Omar, is famous, & remembers everyone. New faces come, & not all of them know how to keep things in order. Omar always knows. Thanx
Day 1 was great, but the 2nd day was aweful. There was a differe t cook who should not have been a cook. The grits were dried balls of mush and I didn't get both my drinks, I had to ask for the obvious for waffles. It was bad! But I think it was more the owners fault for not having more than one waitress on duty.
I eat here at least once a week and have gotten to know the staff pretty well. Renee is usually my server and she is the sweetest, hardest working person there, and I tip her very well, or really whoever my server is if she’s off. I’ve never had a bad meal here, everyone is friendly, and they all do a great job.
Ms.Dee (the 3rd shift manager) was rude!!! When we arrived there was a couple at the high tops, a 4 top at a table, and 7 people waiting. The 7 people were told they are no longer serving and they were waiting on their Uber since 2a and it was 3:40a. We asked were they closed and Marlisha, the server, said she was not busy but the manager (Ms. Dee) said we are not taking any more orders until the restaurant was clean. The 3 of us decided to wait, because we were starving! Several people were turned away, while we waited. Another gentleman came in and said he was waiting on an order. The 2nd server made sure his order was completed. In the meantime, phone never rung so no to-go orders were being taken. No food was on the grill until the gentleman came in and the 2nd server called his order. My wife and our friend took dirty dishes from 1 table and stacked them on another dirty table to try and help. Ms. Dee yelled they don't need no help! Yet no one was cleaning tables nor cleaning behind the counter. Another cook came in and he said they would be right with us. About 10 mins later Marlisha took our order. 40 mins later we finally got our food, thanks to Marlisha. She was welcoming from the beginning and we were sure to tip her over 20% for her hospitality. As a server, I cannot imagine being at work and not being able to make money because my manager doesn't want to work nor manage! Corporate needs to evaluate this. Money loss for the business and the servers.
Walked in around 330 this morning. Full house if you included the to-go line. I waited 20 minutes to place my drink order. 15 minutes later at 405 we finally got our drinks. Coffee was cold. Never got the creamer or straw I asked for. 430 we get most of our food. 440 we get the rest of our food. The to-go line only got longer as we waited due to the miscommunication in the kitchen. Refire after refire as the wrong food went to the wrong people. Fs need to step it up WH
