Although small, this is about as authentic as it gets. Menu has standard items and then there are the regional specialties and what I think are "Grandma's favorites." Smaller individual restaurants like this are unique in that they rely on family recipes. Makes it a one of a kind experience. Tacos Ala carte was the best way to explore and sample. Sauces range from mild to experienced. But nothing I saw was based on a dare (super hot.) Very nice staff.
Don't judge a book by its cover! This place may be small, easy to miss and located in an area that people unfairly negatively judge, but it's a true gem! I'm glad it's in my neighborhood and I live walking distance from it.I used to always get takeout, but one day about a month ago I was having a pity party and needed to drown my sorrows in a margarita pitcher, queso and great food. I got all of that, wonderful customer service and solid mom advice. What I didn't drink of my margarita, I took with me along with my leftover food. My entire weekend was great because of my visit to Victoria, because I had food and margaritas the entire weekend.Little things mean a lot and when you have local businesses like this in your neighborhood, it's a great feeling. I wish the owner(s) and staff nothing but success and hope they're in my neighborhood for years to come.Do yourself a favor and check this place out!
Seriously phenomenal food. This is some of the best Mexican food I've had in Louisville. I'll be going back soon. Everyone in my group loved it, and we were impressed by the friendly service!
I ordered the taco salad, and every bite had chicken in it, also ordered the steak burrito, and it was very good also. I definitely recommend it, authentic Mexican food.
Great food, cocktails and service…looking forward to a return trip!
most authentic Mexican food in Louisville. very delicious!
i called asking for a refund for the old and crusty rice we were served in our takeout order. was initially hung up on, then told the owner wanted me return the rice and refused to refund me, with an explanation its due to a new cook. a NEW one?? well the truth hurts.... the grisly asada was less than desirable and made up about 2 of the 6 tacos we got. the beans were more liquid than refried, and unfortunately were unsuccessful in even softening the rice, which was pretty much petrified and unedible. photo below, but hoping the owner sees this - and maybe understand a small request of $2.50 would have been wiser than my full honesty in this order. customer service goes a long way, and much further than i was willing to drive this evening. whatta let down.
I just discovered this little gem ? Best tacos near me .
muy bueno excelente ambiente
Really good food and very reasonably priced. Terrific fish tacos. They offered three sauces to go with the entree which included a very spicy habanero, a guacamole green chili sauce and a tomatillo sauce. The spicy salsa that went with the chips was off the hook, good. Great service and very nice people. Highly recommended
