Wonderful dinner to celebrate our anniversary although the server did not ask if we were there for a special occasion. Food was very good and ambiance was highly energetic although it was extremely loud (too loud to have a conversation).

We went to celebrate our anniversary. We had a great spot in the restaurant. They put a Happy Anniversary sign on our table. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding!
Food was outstanding as usual. Our server Kate was stellar - professional, knowledgeable, thoughtful, with just the right amount of checking in and friendliness. Great place for anniversary celebration.
Great place for a stylish celebration
Made reservations well in advance and was seated in the corner of a little room off to the side. The AC was blowing so hard it could part my hair. When I brought it up they acknowledged that yes, it was very cold. Three of our four entrees sucked! I had the chefâs special vegetarian meal and I told the waitress no squash. When it arrived it was two thirds zucchini which I brought to their attention that I didnât want any squash. The waitress said it was zucchini apparently not knowing zucchini is a squash. It really didnât matter because the rest of the entree was flavorless. Varanese is, or was, one of my favorite restaurants. I donât know what has happened to it.
