This is a great neighborhood diner. Support our friends.
Old fashioned restaurant serving breakfast and lunch until 3:00 p.m. 7 days a week, with wholesome food and friendly service and hospitality. I ordered a tuna sandwich with very little mayonnaise and my sandwich was made from scratch exactly as I requested. I couldn't ask for better service. Rae and her daughter Jamie own the restaurant and treat all of the customers like family. It's one of my favorite places in town to come to for a nice relaxing lunch or breakfast. Great food excellent prices phenomenal service.
Very bad service here. Came here to try out a local place. The waitress acted super bored and almost like we were an inconvenience. She was super hard to understand when mumbling. When not helping us, she sat at the bar across from us on her phone. You can't tell from most of the pictures, but this "retro" themed diner is really just dirty and run down. The food was okay at best. The bacon was great, the pancakes were just okay, and the eggs were terrible. My scrambled eggs and my wife's omelet both were super watery (not undercooked, watery) and unseasoned. My wife liked her omelet okay but I could hardly touch the eggs.Would not recommend.
Love it. This was my boyfriends first time coming to Twig and Leaf. He lives less than a mile from here and has never been to T&L. I told him I was definitely taking him to the Twig and Leaf TODAY!!! It is a staple of the Highlands. Food was awesome ? as always. Service was great. New owners are wonderful. Love my Twig and Leaf.??❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The staff was friendly, but honestly, the food was just okay. I will say that their price for OJ was great...only $2.50 for a large glass. Certainly better than $4 for a tiny glass elsewhere!
Food is really good and really no wait at all except the fact that they do cook it as you order so just the wait till it's done. Also friendly service but it's a very small eating area.
I grew up in Louisville, and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve driven by this place. I finally stopped in today for breakfast. If you want fancy, this place isn’t for you. If you want an old school diner breakfast where you get good food, and your money’s worth, with non-stop coffee, this is it.
We were in Louisville for a quick getaway and came up on Twig and
Exactly what I was looking for - a good old fashioned breakfast diner. Service was great, breakfast was excellent - both days. The omelet was loaded, bacon perfectly cooked, milk was ice cold, and the coffee magically never emptied. Price was extremely reasonable. Highly recommend.
Drove past for 30 years wondering. Finally stopped today and had a great breakfast! Lots on the menu. New owners are great. I will be back!
